Intelligent integrated locking devices and systems
An intelligent lock, overlock, and lock system can be electrically controlled to open and close one or more locks. The lock, lock system, and method may function on a frequency selected to avoid cross talk, which permits numerous locks to function simultaneously on the same central system with little interruption or delay. A lock may be used as an overlock for an existing lock or be a primary lock and may include a pivoting engagement structure that engages a locking mechanism to provide added strength.
Locking system and method for a movable freight container door
A locking system and method for a movable freight container door comprises an electronic module and a mechanical lock element. The mechanical lock element comprises a shaft, at least of portion of which is configured to be inserted through an aperture in the electronic module, across a door handle retention region, and into a cavity in the electronic module. The shaft is securely retained in the electronic module by moving a lock mechanism to a locked position. At least one magnetic field sensor in the electronic module is used to read the position of the shaft in the cavity by sensing or not sensing one or more magnets in the shaft. A wireless communication component in the electronic module wirelessly transmits magnetic field sensor information.
USING COMBINATION OF GPS AND BLE BEACONING TO LOCATE A LOCK BOX
A method of locating a lock box including: obtaining a saved location of the lock box using an application operated via a first cellular telephone, the saved location of the lock box being accurate within a first selected radius; displaying the saved location of the lock box on the first cellular telephone via the application; detecting a Bluetooth advertisement of the lock box using the first cellular telephone; determining a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of the Bluetooth advertisement; determining a distance between the first cellular telephone and the lock box in response to the RSSI of the Bluetooth advertisement; and displaying a distance indicator depicting the distance between the first cellular telephone and the lock box on the first cellular telephone via the application.
Smart lock box
A smart lock box system is described. One implementation of the lock box system includes a locking mechanism configured to securely hold a cover over a compartment. The lock box system includes a receiver capable of receiving signals from a user device. The lock box system also includes a processor configured to identify an access message in a received signal, a service to verify that the access message was provided by an authorized party, and cause the locking mechanism to be released in response to verifying that the access message was provided by the authorized party. The open/close events are recorded in a distributed ledger to document which user's device was used to access a given property at a given time. Furthermore, the smart lock box system utilizes a push notification service, based on user device's GPS, to inform owners when to depart/return to the property.
POSITION KEYED LOCKBOX
A position keyed lockbox is unlocked by geographical location data or other positional data and includes an enclosure, a locking mechanism, and a control system. The control system unlocks the lockbox when the lockbox is taken to a location that matches a pre-selected location stored in the memory.
Package receiving device and package receiving method
A package receiving device 10 includes: a casing 12 having an opening 12a formed in an upper surface thereof; a placement table 22 configured to move up and down between a raised position at which the placement table 22 is located at the upper surface opening 12a of the casing 12 and a lowered position at which the placement table 22 is located inside the casing 12; a lid member 32 configured to move between an opening position and a closing position so that the lid member 32 opens/closes the upper surface opening 12a of the casing 12. After the package is placed thereon, the placement table 22 is moved to the lowered position from the raised position, and subsequently the lid member 32 is moved to the closing position from the opening position, whereby the package placed on the placement table 22 is housed inside the casing 12.
LOCK FOR MOVABLE FREIGHT CONTAINER CARGO DOOR
A lock for permanent attachment to a movable freight container cargo door as a replacement for a prior art hasp or a prior art keeper. The lock is configured for permanent attachment to the cargo door using pre-existing hole locations for the prior art hasp or keeper. The lock comprises a straight shackle and a c-shaped lock body and is configured to retain a door handle between the shackle and the back of the c-shaped lock body. The shackle is locked into the lock body using a shackle lock element that engages with a groove in the shackle. The shackle groove is perpendicular to the shaft of the shackle. The shackle lock element is pressed into the groove using by one or more springs in linear direction that is perpendicular to the length of the shackle and perpendicular to the groove, and released from the groove through by a lock module, which could be a lock cylinder or an electronic lock module. Axial movement of the shackle to prevent the shackle from being completely removed from the lock body is accomplished by a screw in the lock body that rides into a longitudinal slot in the shaft of the shackle.
ELECTRONIC LOCK
A lock can include a motor assembly, a gear assembly, and an unlocking assembly. The motor assembly can include a motor and a drive shaft. The gear assembly can include a cam, a pinion gear, and a pinion. The pinion gear can include a plurality of teeth disposed along only a portion of a perimeter of the pinion gear. The pinion gear can be configured to engage the pinion. The pinion can be configured to translate laterally to release a biasing member to unlock a door of a container.
INDICATING LOCATION OF A LOCK
Lock system, mobile device and method for indicating the location of a lock with a mobile device, which mobile device sends and receives a radio signal and communicates with the lock via radio-frequency communication, wherein the lock is a lock that is openable electrically and by radio-frequency communication. In the solution of the invention the direction and/or strength of a radio transmission sent by a lock is measured with a mobile device, the location and/or direction of the lock in relation to the mobile device is determined on the basis of the measurement, and the location of the lock and/or the direction towards the lock is indicated with the mobile device to the user of the mobile device.
