PICK-RESISTANT PIN TUMBLER LOCK ASSEMBLY
A pick-resistant lock assembly may include a housing having a cylindrical opening. The cylindrical opening may have a centerline. The housing may include a plurality of pin cavities intersecting the cylindrical opening. A plug may be rotatably mounted in the cylindrical opening. The plug may include a keyway and a plug axis. A slide bar pocket may be formed within the housing. The lock assembly may include a pin verification mechanism having a slide bar in the slide bar pocket. The pin verification mechanism may be concealed within the housing and may be inaccessible to an attacker inserting a hand tool through the keyway. Other examples may be described and claimed.
Method for mutually controlling and unlocking a dual plug in a lock and a lock with a dual plug
A method for mutually controlling and unlocking a dual plug in a lock, comprising: unlocking a code of a first plug first, the first plug restricting unlocking of a second plug, the second plug restricting rotating of the first plug before the code of the first plug is unlocked; after unlocking the code of the first plug, the first plug translating to a second position from a first position using a preset position difference, the first plug being unable to rotate during the translation; after moving the first plug to the second position, the first plug releasing a restriction on the second plug, the second plug still restricting the rotating of the first plug; and unlocking the code of the second plug, the first plug and the second plug being able to rotate synchronously so as to unlock the lock after unlocking the code of the second plug. The present invention further relates to a lock with a dual plug.
Modular lock plug
A plug assembly including a plug, a sidebar movably mounted on the plug, and a plurality of rack pins seated in the plug. The sidebar is biased to an outer position in which the sidebar extends beyond an outer surface of the plug. Each rack pin includes a key-following leg and a sidebar-engaging leg. The sidebar-engaging leg includes at least one true gate. When a true gate of each rack pin is aligned with the sidebar, the sidebar is free to move radially inward to an inner position.
LOCK STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF PROTECTION
A pin tumbler lock has a body in which is rotatably housed a core assembly that includes first and second core portions that are rotatable relative to each other, the first core portion being coupled to a moveable cam operatively connected to a locking element external to the lock, and the second core portion including a keyway, there being a shaft extending from the core assembly into the lock body, and a pin stack including a driver pin and a key pin within the shaft, the stack being positionable under bias to engage the first and second core portions against independent rotation, wherein the pin stack is positionable in the presence of an object other than a correct key in the keyway to cause disengagement of the first core portion from the second core portion. The first and second core portions may be coaxially aligned.
LOCKING PIN ASSEMBLIES AND USES THEREOF
The disclosure relates to an improved cylinder lock, key and their combination. More specifically, the disclosure relates to a locking pin assembly operable to provide added combination and increase security against burglary, such as by key bumping, a cylinder lock incorporating the locking pin assembly and key blade and key blade assemblies having the configuration to actuate the locking pin assembly.
Key system of lock
A key system of a lock having a high peaking difficulty when picking is tried by a picking tool, includes three or more rectangular holes formed between pin holes of an inner case to insert rectangular pins, where each of the rectangular pin includes a side bar insertion groove and a fake groove formed to be spaced apart from the side bar insertion groove at an interval to raise the degree of picking difficulty. A quadrangular pin is inserted into the rectangular hole located in the middle among the rectangular holes formed in the inner case to be inserted into the hole formed in an outer case. The side on which the quadrangular pin is located has an escape groove to accommodate the quadrangular pin.
Locking Device and Method
An improved locking device comprising a lock body, a locking plug, and a plurality of tumblers, wherein the tumblers are restricted from moving with respect to the locking plug during the time frame that the locking plug is rotated with respect to the lock body.
PICK-RESISTANT LOCK ASSEMBLY
A pick-resistant lock assembly is provided. The lock assembly includes a housing having a main bore and a chamber including a plurality of channels holding a corresponding plurality of pin stacks, a core having a keyway and having a plurality of core openings configured to align with the channels of the housing, and a sleeve configured to fit within the main bore. The pin stacks are each configured to provide a plurality of decoy shear lines in which rotation of the core and the sleeve together is limited by a blocking position and a true shear line which permits rotation of the core and the sleeve together for actuation of the lock assembly when the true shear line is provided in each pin stack of the plurality of pin stacks.
BUMPING PREVENTING ARRANGEMENT FOR LOCK DEVICE, LOCK DEVICE AND METHOD
A bumping preventing arrangement (10) for a lock device (38, 52, 68), the bumping preventing arrangement (10) comprising transfer member (12, 46, 64, 74) having a magnet (14), the transfer member (12, 46, 64, 74) being movable along an actuation axis (18) between a locked position (16) and an unlocked position (36); a plurality of electric conductors (20), each electric conductor (20) enclosing the actuation axis (18); and a plurality of switches (22), each switch (22) being associated with a respective electric conductor (20), and being arranged to selectively close an electric circuit comprising the associated electric conductor (20) such that eddy currents are induced in the electric conductors (20) when the magnet (14) moves along the actuation axis (18) from the locked position (16) towards the unlocked position (36). A lock device (38, 52, 68) and a method of controlling a lock device (38, 52, 68) are also provided.
