Secure locking device, particularly for a piece of luggage
The invention relates to a zipper device comprising a slider provided with a pull tab (113) having a locking eyelet at its end; a lock comprising locking means able to engage with the eyelet of the pull tab so as to secure and release said eyelet from the lock. The lock comprises a cover (220) that is movable between a closed position and an open position, capable of covering, in the closed position, the end of the pull tab secured to the lock, and of uncovering this end in the open position, the cover being locked in the closed position when the pull tabs are locked in the lock. The invention also relates to a piece of luggage provided with such a zipper device.
COMBINATION LOCK
A combination lock includes a lock body, a shaft secured within the lock body, and a plurality of coaxially aligned rotary lock elements rotatable about the shaft. Each rotary lock element includes an inner peripheral hub disposed on the shaft and including a radial bore extending from an outer periphery of the hub to an inner periphery of the hub, and an outer peripheral wheel surrounding the hub. A shaft engaging member a wheel engaging member are disposed in the radial bore, with the wheel engaging member extending partially outward of the outer periphery of the hub for engagement with one of a plurality of inner peripheral pockets in the wheel to rotationally fix the wheel with the hub. When the locking shaft is moved from a normal operating position to a code change position, the shaft engaging member of each dial is partially receivable in a corresponding recess in the locking shaft, and the wheel engaging member is receivable into the radial bore to rotationally disengage the wheel from the corresponding hub.
Multiple configuration lock
A portable lock apparatus is adaptable to readily transform between a single cable loop configuration or a double cable loop configuration, and incorporates a locking mechanism permitting selective release and securement of one or more cable ends to achieve either configuration. The lock apparatus may secure multiple components, particularly, when in the double cable loop configuration, thereby removing the need for multiple locks for securing a single article.

COMBINATION LOCKING MECHANISM
A combination locking mechanism, particularly a strap lock that is secured via a rotary combination dial mechanism, is disclosed. The lock mechanism includes a clasp and a clasp receiver, and when locked, the clasp engages the clasp receiver creating a loop. The clasp receiver includes two sections, a body, and a latch member, both contained within a housing and creates a shear line between them. When the combination lock is in a locked condition at least two pins straddle the shear line and when in an unlocked condition the pins do not straddle the shear line. Contained within the body is the combination dial that includes a digit wheel and a pin receiver. After the user rotates the digit wheel to set a code for the unlocked condition, any other digit combination will put the lock in a locked condition.
Combination locking device
A combination locking device is disclosed. The device includes a spindle which is axially movable, has recesses in it and locking protrusion on it. Around the spindle are annular dials with markers on the outside and associated recesses on the inside. Between each dial and the spindle are gate wheels which have apertures extending radially from the spindle to the dial. The gate wheels also have recesses matching the locking protrusions and when the protrusions and recesses are aligned and the spindle moved axially the gate wheels are rotatably fixed to the spindle. A plurality of locking balls is located within the apertures. Axial movement of the spindle selects device conditions including a code change condition where the locking balls are able to enter the spindle recesses freeing them from the dial recesses and allowing the dials to move around the gate wheels.

Code wheel combination lock
Disclosed in the present invention is a novel code wheel combination lock, comprising a knob and a face plate that can rotate with respect to each other, a lock tongue, and a code wheel assembly. The code wheel assembly comprises a base having an accommodation cavity, a code wheel shaft, several sets of bushings and code wheels, a reset mechanism, a positioning member, and a protection frame; the base is mounted on the face plate; the code wheel shaft passes through a movement cavity and can axially moves; the bushings are sleeved on the code wheel shaft and can rotate together with the code wheel shaft or with respect to the code wheel shaft; the code wheels are sleeved on the bushings and can rotate together with the bushings or with respect to the bushings; the reset mechanism is used for resetting the code wheels; the positioning member is used for limiting reset of the code wheels; the protection frame is used for changing the matching mode between the code wheels and the bushings; in the rotation of the knob and the face plate with respect to each other, there are a first position, a second position and a third position to respectively implement the functions of locking, automatic code wheel reset, and manual password setting. The present invention has a function of automatically resetting the code wheels after unlocking and before locking, thereby improving the product safety and preventing password exposure.
