DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY INCLUDING WEATHERIZATION

An electronic door lock system includes a gasket system for protecting electrical and mechanical components from exterior water and air. A lock portion may include a gasket, a circuit board, and a plate disposed between a first and second housing. The gasket includes an L-shaped perimeter that wraps around a first side and perimeter edge of the circuit board. The plate compresses the gasket perimeter against a ridge on the first housing to form a seal around the circuit board.

An actuating device (12) comprising an actuating element (14); an electric generator (16); and an electromechanical coupling device (18) configured to adopt a decoupled state, for decoupling the actuating element (14) from a locking member (22), and a coupled state, for coupling the actuating element (14) to the locking member (22); wherein the coupling device (18) comprises a blocker (26), a holder (38) and a release mechanism (40); wherein the holder (38) is arranged to adopt a holding position, in which the holder (38) holds the blocker (26), when the coupling device (18) adopts the coupled state; wherein the holder (38) is arranged to adopt a released position, in which the holder (38) does not hold the blocker (26), when the coupling device (18) adopts the decoupled state; and wherein the release mechanism (40) is arranged to mechanically force the holder (38) from the holding position to the released position by manual rotation of the actuating element (14) about the actuating axis (20).

DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

A door lock system includes a toolless handing assembly that selectively sets a handle in a left or right home position. The handing assembly may cooperate with a disc and a spring that biases the disc to a default position. The disc may be rotated in a first direction to set the disc in a first home position. A catch may engage the disc to retain the disc in the first home position. The catch may be released to return the disc to the default position and the disc may be rotated in a second direction to set the disc in a second home position, opposite the first home position.

DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH SELF ADJUSTING SPINDLES

A door lock system that adjusts to doors of different thicknesses. The door lock system may include self-adjusting spindles that engage and center a lock body in a door. The spindles may exert equal and opposing forces that center the lock body within the door and align the lock body with a latch.
