RETAIL DISPLAY UNIT WITH SWING DOOR
A retail display unit includes a top, a base including a slot and at least one swing door. The at least one swing door is rotatably coupled to the top and the base and includes a main panel and a lower rail engaged with a bottom of the main panel. A door catch is mounted to a back side of the lower rail and has a channel opening that faces downwardly at the base. A latch is rotatable through the slot in the base. When the at least one swing door is in a closed position, the latch is rotated through the slot in the base and positioned in the channel opening of the door catch to lock the at least one swing door.
Universal rim housing locking system
A handle assembly includes a lock cylinder of a selected one of a first standard or a different second standard. A tail piece extends from the lock cylinder. The handle assembly also includes a vertical tubular member, a horizontal tubular member and a transition plate. The transition plate is disposed within the vertical tubular member and is moveable between a first position and a different second position. The transition plate accommodates installation of the lock cylinder of the first standard when in the first position and installation of the lock cylinder of the second standard when in the second position. A mechanical linkage is coupled to the tail piece and effects movement of a locking bolt in response to turning of a key in the lock cylinder.
LOCKABLE CABINET SYSTEM AND LOCKING ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
In a locking assembly for a lockable cabinet system, a base supports an electronic lock for locking and unlocking the cabinet. The electronic lock may be releasably attachable to the base at a plurality of spaced apart positions. A one-piece release bar can be connected to an override toggle of the electronic lock. First and second electronic lock override devices may be connected to the release bar for independently overriding electronic actuation of the lock. The electronic lock may be supported on the base such that the electronic lock is separated from the wall of the cavity or the base by a gap. An externally adjustable cam lock can be provided to selectively override the electronic lock. Such cam lock can further inhibit removal of a cover of the locking assembly when locked and allow removal of the cover when unlocked, thereby providing tamper-resistance.
Overhead Locking Device
An electric locking device for selectively locking and unlocking a door to a door frame is provided. The device comprises a housing and a keeper movably connected to the housing. The keeper includes a keeper shaft having an axis of rotation. The keeper is rotatable about the axis of rotation between first and second rotational positions, and movable between first and second directional positions relative to the lock housing. The movement between first and second directional positions is generally linear, and the axis of rotation is configured to move relative to the lock housing as the keeper moves between first and second directional positions. When the keeper is in the first rotational and directional positions, the door is secured to the door frame by the keeper. When the keeper is in the second rotational and directional positions, the door is allowed to move away from the door frame.
Door lock configured to be opened by one hand
A door lock includes a lock with a latch. An inside face plate and an outside face plate of the door lock are respectively mounted to an inside plate and an outside plate of the door lock. A washer plate is sandwiched between the inside face plate and the outside face plate. An inside cylinder and an outside cylinder are connected between the inside plate and the outside plate. An inside collar is connected between the inside face plate and the inside cylinder, and an outside collar is connected between the outside face plate and the outside cylinder. When the door lock is set in ready-to-open mold, the door can be opened by either rotating the shafts or the door handle by one hand. When the door lock is set in locked mold, the door cannot be opened by simply rotating the door handle.
TUBULAR EXIT DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An exit device assembly for coupling to a door having a first side and second side. A first exit device may be coupled to the first side of the door. The first exit device may include a main tube extending from a first end to a second end and a first adjustment tube coupled to the first end of the main tube. The first adjustment tube may be axially adjustable relative to the main tube along a first adjustment axis. An actuator assembly may be supported within an interior of the main tube of the first exit device and may be moveable between a first position and a second position. A latchbolt may be coupled to the actuator assembly and may be moveable between a retracted position and an extended position in which the latchbolt engages a latch.
Interchangeable core lock assemblies
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a locking device is provided including an interchangeable core (IC), a barrel, an anti-rotation plate, a prong driver, a bolt and a backplate. The barrel is coupled to the backplate and includes a hollow interior to receive the IC. The bolt is slidably disposed in a slot of the backplate. The IC includes a key hole. The prong driver is coupled to the IC and the bolt, such that, when a proper key is inserted into the key hole and rotated the bolt can be extended from the slot in a direction away from the locking device or retracted into the slot in a direction toward the interior of the locking device. The anti-rotation plate of the locking device is coupled to the barrel to prevent the locking device from being rotated relative to a structure the locking device is mounted to.
Magnetic lock
A magnetic lock has a magnetically operable latch having a magnetically repellable or attractable latch element. A magnetic operating device spaced from the latch has a first magnet with a respective magnetic direction and a second magnet with a respective magnetic direction. The first magnet is rotatable between a latched position with its magnetic direction generally parallel to and pointing oppositely to the magnetic direction of the second magnet for contracting a magnetic field formed by the first and second magnets, and a release position generally parallel to and with its magnetic direction pointing the same as the second magnet for extending the magnetic field to and repelling or attracting the latch element.
Vertical Latch Bolt
An improved roller latch bolt that asymmetrically locates the roller within a roller support is presented. The improved design allows for a roller to make contact with a ramp surface of a corresponding strike plate on a sweep side of the plate and allows for the roller support to make contact with the strike plate on a latch side of the plate. The improved roller latch bolt maintains the smooth operation of roller latch bolts while also providing the increased door security and other benefits of non-roller latch bolts.
