DOOR APPARATUS AND PARKING APPARATUS EQUIPPED THEREWITH
A door apparatus for closing an access opening and to a parking apparatus equipped therewith. The door apparatus has two vertically aligned guide rails and an inner and an outer door element which are each movably mounted in/on a vertically aligned inner or outer guide of the guide rails. In a closed position, the inner door element is arranged in a first region of the access opening which is situated lower than a second region in which the outer door element is arranged. In an open position, the inner and the outer door element are arranged in a third region of the access opening which is situated higher than the first and the second region. Furthermore, the door apparatus has a locking element and a coupling element.
Security locking system
The present invention relates to a security locking system of the type comprising a cylinder (3) provided with a set of pistons (8) that are able to be positioned by elastic means on the impression formed in the edge (7b, 7c) of a control key (7) perpendicularly to the direction in which said key (7) is introduced into the cylinder (3), these pistons (8) being able to take up two positions, namely a position retracted into the cylinder (3) when the key (7) is introduced into the latter and an extended position when the key (7) is withdrawn there from. This system is characterized in that:—the cylinder is made up of a locking block (3) of parallelepipedal shape that is able to be received in a receiving block (5),—it comprises locking means which are activated when the locking block (3) is introduced into the receiving block (5).
Modified tilt latch bolt
An improved tilt latch bolt for a double-hung window with a groove or channel formed in either the biased or planar portion of the bolt nose for engaging a portion of the window frame when the window is under duress is disclosed herein. The grooves and channels define a depth of at least five thousandths of an inch (0.127 cm). The deformable cantilever, by virtue of being formed above, and extending over the channel, is resilient such that were a portion of the window jamb to clear the width of channel, the deformable cantilever provides a small degree of tolerance to capture the wayward window jamb before it inadvertently rotates out of the sash, for example in inclement weather conditions.
Shoot bolt for limiting movement of a fenestration panel
A shootbolt system for a fenestration assembly, such as a sliding patio door system, includes a chassis mountable to a stile of a sliding panel of the fenestration assembly, and a shootbolt slidably coupled to the chassis. The shootbolt is designed to be coupled to a corner drive system of the sliding panel for movement therewith upwardly or downwardly along the stile in response to an applied actuation force, such as from an operator handle. When extended, the shootbolt engages a receiver or stop mounted to the frame to prevent the sliding panel from rebounding when an adjacent second sliding panel is slidably moved to a closed position in contact with the sliding panel.
Door stop mechanism
A door stopping mechanism for a sliding glazing patio door or like, independent in construction from the sliding glazing for which it is stopping, includes a vertical and horizontal component. The horizontal component is within the track of the door, while the vertical component is selectively attached to the sliding member. The mechanism is changeable from a locked to unlocked position by manipulation by a user at mid-height of the door, and at least one of the locked or unlocked positions is maintained by gravity.
DOOR AND WINDOW SECURING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A locking apparatus and method for securing a door or window comprising a substantial controllable mechanical locking mechanism that secures the sliding door or window into the receiving channel such that the locking mechanism cannot be disengaged from the receiving structure by a manual force; prevents the door or window from being lifted out of a bottom track by mere manual force; is able to report the door or window status as closed or open and as locked or unlocked to a remote user; is able to be remotely locked and unlocked using an application running on a mobile device or computer, or, alternatively by accessing a web accessible portal from a mobile device, electronic device or computer; and is manually operable by a user in the event of a power outage. A manually operated embodiment is useful for use cases in which no electric power is available.
Telescoping flush handle for lift and slide doors
The present disclosure includes a handle assembly system for use with lift and slide doors. The handle assembly can include a handle housing that can serve as a support frame for housing and securing the handle flush within a front face of the door. The handle can be pivoted out of the handle housing and extended to increase length, wherein rotating the handle allows a user to actuate the door panels in order to open and close the sliding door system. The telescoping handle can allow a user to grip the handle and provide a lever-type function to reduce the force required by the user to actuate the panel, such as to lift the panel onto or off the track.
WINDOWS AND DOORS ASSEMBLY HAVING VENTILATION FUNCTION AND HORIZONTAL CONTACT FUNCTION
The present disclosure relates to a windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function, and more particularly to a horizontal contact windows and doors assembly for crime prevention and security functions by preventing a window from being open even when the window is slightly open and it is possible to ventilate with the outside air. To achieve the objective of the present disclosure, the windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function includes a window frame, and a windowsill in which the window frame is slidably installed, a handle rotatably installed on the window frame, an engagement unit provided on a lateral surface of the window frame, linked to movement of the handle, and moved in upward and downward directions, an engagement guide provided on the windowsill to face the engagement unit and configured to catch or not catch the engagement unit depending on a position of the engagement unit, and a horizontal moving device provided on at least one of a top surface or a bottom surface of the window frame, linked to the handle, and configured to make the window frame horizontally come into contact with the windowsill or to release horizontal contact depending on movement of the handle, and in this case, when a contact state of the window with respect to the windowsill by the horizontal contact device is released while a catching operation between the engagement unit and the engagement guide is performed, it is possible to ventilate through a gap between the window and the windowsill, the window is restrictly moved to form the gap, and the window is prevented from being freely open.
SLIDE-AND-SWING WING SYSTEM
A slide-and-swing wing system includes at least one rail profile. At least two wings, each displaceably mounted in the at least one rail profile via two support elements The at least one rail profile has a lateral outlet opening for unlatching a support element of a wing. One wing functions as a door leaf which, with all other wings in the latched state, is pivotable into the remaining opening. A closure mechanism makes it possible to prevent the door leaf from being opened and includes a drive, and also an operating part, via which the drive can be actuated. The door leaf is displaceable, via the drive, in the rail profile in the direction of the adjacent wing to such an extent that no support element of the door leaf is aligned with the outlet opening, thereby preventing a support element from coming out through the lateral outlet opening.
Folding door structure
A folding door structure is provided. The folding door structure includes an upright column, upper sliding bracket and a lower sliding bracket. The upright column is hinged to the door leaves. The folding door structure further includes a first lock component. The first lock component includes a first latch mounted inside the upright column, and both ends of which are extended out from the top and bottom of the upright column to insert into the upper slide and/or the lower slide. By providing a first lock component and an upright column, a first latch can lock the position of the upright column relative to a door frame in a direction of wind pressure. Accordingly, the stress environment of the upper sliding bracket and the lower sliding bracket is improved, and the reliability and the resistance to high wind pressure of the connection mounting structure between adjacent door leaves are improved.
