Dead bolt lock system and method of retracting a dead bolt

A dead bolt lock system including a slider member operatively coupled to a dead bolt such that when the slider member is in a first position, the dead bolt is in an extended position. When the slider member is in a second position, the dead bolt is in the retracted position. The system also includes a first movable member positioned in a path of movement of the slider member and configured to be displaced by the slider member to allow the slider member to move to the second position. The system includes a first lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member, a second lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member.

Door lock device

A door lock device is provided and includes a lock assembly and an operation assembly interlocked with the lock assembly so as to bury the lock assembly in a door frame, thereby protecting the lock assembly from being damaged or stolen.

A push pad exit device comprising a horizontal push bar actuator mechanically linked to a vertical door handle assembly, for use on the interior side of entrance doors where a means of emergency egress is desired is presented. The operating mechanisms of the push bar actuator and vertical door handle assembly are concealed presenting a smooth uncluttered appearance. In one mode of operation, the push pad actuator may be moved inwards towards the door face causing the door to unlatch. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a “dogging feature” which locks the push bar actuator in the unlatched position. In this mode of operation the door is unlatched and the push pad actuator may be used as a fixed door handle. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a keyed lock on an external face of the door.

Lock assembly

A lock assembly is provided and includes: a driving member; an acting member connected to the driving member; an active member cooperating with the acting member for operation; and a main lock member interlocked with the active member. The driving member drives the acting member to swing and the acting member touches the active member so as to displace the active member and synchronously displace the main lock member. Therefore, the lock assembly is buried in a door frame through cooperation of the driving member, the acting member and the active member, so as to be protected from being damaged or stolen.
