The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.

The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.
