LOCKING MEMBERS
In some examples, an apparatus can include a first locking member, the first locking member including a column, a first magnet movably located in the first locking member, a second locking member rotatably connected to the column, and a second magnet located in the second locking member, where when the first magnet is in a disengaged position, the second locking member is rotatable about the column, and when the first magnet is translated from the disengaged position to an engaged position in the first locking member, a magnetic force is created between the first magnet and the second magnet to align the first locking member and the second locking member.
ANTI-THEFT DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR FOR CARDBOARD BOXES
The invention relates to an anti-theft device configured to be attached to merchandise to be protected, preferably to cardboard boxes, the anti-theft device comprising a housing, which comprises a winding apparatus rotatably mounted therein, at least one securing-loop arrangement, the securing-loop arrangement being designed to loop around the merchandise to be protected such that the anti-theft device can be securely connected to the merchandise to be protected, and a winding apparatus locking mechanism configured to prevent the rotational unwinding movement of the winding apparatus in the housing, if the winding apparatus locking mechanism is engaged with the winding apparatus.
Locking sled security device
An example security device includes a tag and a sled. The tag may include a security element, a receiving recess, a locking channel adjacent to the receiving recess, and a slug biased towards a sled facing surface of the tag. The sled may include a base having a tab extending therefrom, an adhesive applied to a product facing surface of the base for applying the sled to a product, and a cavity in the base having an opening on a tag facing surface of the base.
Dynamic magnetic detacher
A system is provided. The system includes a detacher. The detacher includes a field source. The field source is arranged to provide a first magnetic field when power is applied to the field source. The detacher further includes a magnet arranged to provide a second magnetic field. The magnet is movable from a non-detach position to a detach position when exposed to the first magnetic field. The second magnetic field is arranged to unlock a security tag when the magnet is at the detach location. The system further includes an activation device. The activation device includes a processor configured to trigger power to be supplied to the field source.
ANTI-THEFT AND SAFETY MECHANISM FOR BOTTLES
An anti-theft and safety mechanism for bottles is described, comprising a case, first locking and unlocking means, and second locking and unlocking means adapted to be actuated, when locking, through a manual action, after the mechanism has been inserted onto the neck of a bottle and, when unlocking, as consequence of the unlocking action exerted on the first locking and unlocking means, allowing the removal of the mechanism from the neck of the bottle, wherein the first locking and unlocking means comprise a hook which is adapted to fasten a collar of the bottle, and the second locking and unlocking means comprise a first half-circular element adapted to be moved in contact with the neck of the bottle preventing the access to the tip of the hook.
Springless ball and clutch locking mechanism
The invention relating to a locking mechanism is provided herein. The invention is composed of a pin adapted with a circumferential pin notch; a lock housing; a chamber with a chamber pin slot for receiving the pin and adapted to mate with the lock housing; a set of a given number of uniformly dimensioned ball bearings; a bearing housing adapted to fit inside the chamber, adapted to contain the ball bearings while enabling horizontal movement of the ball bearings and restraining vertical movement of the ball bearings, and adapted with a bearing housing pin slot for receiving the pin. When the pin is inserted into the chamber pin slot, the pin applies horizontal force to the ball bearings, which in turn deform the inside of the chamber. The ball bearings seat in the circumferential pin notch, locking the pin in place.
Pin-type anti-theft tag with double locking
A pin-type anti-theft tag includes a safety pin, a tag body, a tag hole suitable for inserting the safety pin, at least one sensor, and a first lock body and a second lock body located in the tag body. Both the first lock body and the second lock body need to be located in a release position at the same time, so that the safety pin can be successfully removed from the tag body. The first lock body is mounted at an unlocking hole of the tag body, and a spring lock retainer is arranged at a lower portion of the first lock body. The second lock body is mounted below the tag hole of the tag body, and a pin rod of the safety pin is inserted into the second lock body along the tag hole to play a locking role.
Security device
A security device for preventing or deterring theft of an object from a retail store or similar comprising a housing; a loop of cable extending from the housing for placement around said object; spool means rotatably mounted on the housing, the loop of cable being attached to the spool means such that, in use, rotation of the spool means in a first direction with respect to the housing causes the cable to unwind from the spool means, and rotation of the spool means in a second direction causes the cable to be wound around the spool means; latching means; alarm means; and retracting means arranged to apply a biasing force to the spool means.
Electrical alarm and methods of making and using the alarm
A security tag including: a housing and circuitry which detects a locked state, the circuitry configured to execute a signal transfer function responsive to interchanging a pin and a lanyard in the circuitry, and/or the housing including a replaceable battery compartment locked by inserting either the pin or the lanyard into a lock mechanism which differently secures the pin and the lanyard; and an alarm, in communication with the circuitry, triggered by an undisarmed breach of the locked state.
Systems and methods for locking a sensor to a base
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to merchandise display systems and methods for displaying an article of merchandise. In one example, the system includes a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise. The system also includes a base configured to removably support the sensor thereon. The base includes a lock mechanism configured to lock the sensor to the base.
