Door lock assembly for a vehicle door panel
A door lock assembly for a vehicle door includes a door panel, a stiffener bracket, a lock assembly, and a door pad. The door panel includes an inner door panel and an outer door panel. A stiffener bracket is connected to the inner door panel. A lock assembly is connected to the inner door panel. A door pad is connected to the stiffener bracket. The door pad is configured to interfere with the lock assembly to prevent the lock assembly from unlocking the vehicle door upon an object impacting the outer door panel.

The door pad is configured to interfere with the lock assembly to prevent the lock assembly from unlocking the vehicle door upon an object impacting the outer door panel.
Hood safety system for a vehicle
A hood safety system for a vehicle prevents a hood of the vehicle from being unlocked in a crash event. The system includes a hood locking mechanism and a crash safety mechanism attached to a front structure in a front section of the vehicle. The hood locking mechanism may manually release the hood from a locked position to an unlocked position. The crash safety mechanism includes a crash pin displaceable between an inactivated state and an activated state. In the inactivated state the crash pin is disengaged from the hood locking mechanism and, in the activated state, the crash pin engages the hood locking mechanism to prevent the hood locking mechanism from displacing the hood into the unlocked position. A front section of the vehicle, when deformed by a crash event, is configured to mechanically displace the crash pin from the inactivated state to the activated state.

Opening control device with an inertial safety blocking
An opening control device including a base, a handle lever configured to be pivotally mounted on the base about a handle axis, a kinematic chain configured to transmit a movement from the handle lever toward a latch of the opening control device to unlock the door leaf, the chain including at least one active branch of the handle lever, an inertial safety member including a main body forming an inertial mass and a blocking element linked to the body and configured to prevent by wedging the transmission of movement by the kinematic chain. According to the invention, the inertial member is kinematically coupled to the secondary branch of the handle lever and extends on the side of the secondary branch with respect to the handle axis opposite to a gripping main branch.
Handle system with a safety device
The system includes a bracket, a handle pivotally mounted about a handle axis and including a main gripping branch and a secondary branch each extending on either side of the handle axis, a safety device configured to block an ejection of the handle towards its open position in the event of an impact. The device includes a blocking pawl elastically biased into a position of blocking the pivoting of the secondary branch according to a handle ejection direction and at least one lever for releasing the secondary branch in the ejection direction, the release lever being configured to drive the pawl, against its elastic biasing force, into a release position of the secondary branch, consecutively to a manual mechanical action of pushing in the handle from its flush position and/or to the triggering of an electric actuation for ejecting the handle from its flush position.
