DROP-OFF ASSIST DEVICE, DROP-OFF ASSIST METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A device includes a target information acquisition sensor configured to detect a target present in a region rearward of a host vehicle, and acquire information about the target as target information; and an electronic control unit configured to, while the host vehicle is stopped, calculate, based on the target information, a predicted time required for the target to come into contact with or close proximity to the host vehicle, and execute drop-off assist control for assisting drop-off of an occupant of the host vehicle when the predicted time is equal to or smaller than a predetermined time threshold, set the time threshold to a predetermined first time threshold when a speed of the target is equal to or lower than a predetermined first speed, and set the time threshold to a value smaller than the first time threshold when the speed of the target is higher than the first speed.

DOOR UNIT FOR A VEHICLE
A door unit for an aircraft includes a door which is configured, in a closed position, to cover an opening in the vehicle and to delimit a vehicle interior from a vehicle environment; a pressure compensation flap which is configured, in a sealing position, to cover a pressure compensation opening in the door and, in a pressure compensation position, to at least partially release the pressure compensation opening; a locking element which is configured, in a locking state, to lock the door in the closed position and, in an unlocking state, to unlock the door; and a blocking element which is configured, in the sealing position of the pressure compensation flap, to block a movement of the locking element from the locking state into the unlocking state, wherein the blocking element is arranged on the pressure compensation flap.
VEHICLE DOOR OPERATION DEVICE
A vehicle door operation device includes an inside handle, a full open unlocking lever for transmitting a closing operation of the inside handle to a full open door latch device, and a full closure unlocking lever for transmitting an opening operation of the inside handle to a full closure door latch device. The inside handle has first and projecting portions, and when the inside handle rotates in a first direction by the closing operation, the first projecting portion is brought into abutment with the full open unlocking lever to enable the full open unlocking lever to operate, whereas when the inside handle rotates in a second direction by the opening operation, the second projecting portion is brought into abutment with the full closure unlocking lever to enable the full closure unlocking lever to operate.
INTERIOR DOOR LOCK OPERATOR INTEGRATED INTO PULL DOOR HANDLE
A side door of a motor vehicle has a door lock actuator for a door lock, and a pivoting lever pivotable about a rotational axis of a joint. The pivoting lever has a coupling section coupled to a mechanical actuating member of the door lock in the installed state. An interior door pull handle has one or more fastening regions and at least one handle region having an axial extent. The pivoting lever is integrated into the handle region of the interior door pull handle. The rotational axis is oriented substantially transversely with respect to the axial extent.
Closure latch assembly with a power release mechanism and an inside handle release mechanism
A closure latch assembly for a motor vehicle closure system includes a power release mechanism and an inside handle release mechanism mechanically connected to an inside door handle. The power release mechanism is used to shift the inside handle release mechanism from a normally Disengaged operating state to an Engaged operating state. In the Disengaged state, the inside handle release mechanism is uncoupled from the latch release chain of components to prevent latch release via actuation of the inside door handle. In the Engaged state, the inside handle release mechanism is coupled for the latch release chain of components to permit latch release via actuation of the inside door handle. The power release mechanism only shifts the inside release mechanism from its Disengaged state into its Engaged state in the event of an emergency condition.
Method of unlocking a vehicle door
A method of deactivating a secondary lock feature of a vehicle includes sensing a movement of an interior door handle, and determining a status of the secondary lock feature to ascertain whether the secondary lock feature is active. The method includes starting a timer to measure an elapsed time since sensing the movement of the interior door handle, sensing an environmental condition of an interior passenger compartment of the vehicle with a sensor, and setting an unlock delay time based on the environmental condition. When the secondary lock feature is disposed in an active state and the elapsed time period is greater than or equal to the unlock delay time, the method includes automatically generating a control signal to thereby deactivate the secondary lock feature.

CLOSURE LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH SINGLE MOTOR ACTUATOR CONFIGURED TO CONTROL MULTIPLE LATCH FUNCTIONS
A power latch assembly for motor vehicle closure applications has a single motor operable to move a pawl from a ratchet holding position to a ratchet releasing position; place the power latch assembly in a double pull mechanical release state, and place the power latch assembly in a child lock state.
