A lock with a sole plate and a slider, guided in translation relative to one another by a guide between two positions, an extended position and a retracted position. The slider includes a bearing surface which extends in a sliding plane defined by the guide and an indentation relative to the bearing surface forming a translation stop in one of the two positions. The sole plate cooperates with a retractable pin of a lock carried by the slider, to lock it in the extended position and in the retracted position. The slider comprises, opposite the indentation relative to the retractable pin of the locking means, a translation stop in the extended position.

Accessory mounting system for a vehicle and method for using the same

An accessory mounting fixture for a vehicle is provided. The accessory mounting fixture includes a fixture body connectable to a vehicle surface and having a substantially U-shape defining a frontal opening and adapted to receive an accessory portion. The accessory mounting fixture also includes a locking assembly adapted to selectively secure the accessory portion within the frontal opening. The locking assembly has a first lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on a first side of the frontal opening and a second lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on the second side of the frontal opening. The first and second locking members are operable between a closed position for confining the accessory portion within the frontal opening, and an open configuration. Positioning the first and second lock members in the closed position secures the accessory portion within the frontal opening.

Fuel door opener assembly

A fuel door opener assembly is configured to lock or unlock a fuel door of a vehicle and includes: an opener housing in which a space is formed; a locking block slidably installed inside the opener housing, elastically supported in a direction to be drawn out from the opener housing, and configured to lock and unlock the fuel door; a locking pin configured to be moved along a heart-shaped cam formed on the locking block to restrict a location of the locking block in accordance with a position thereof on a profile of the heart-shaped cam; and an elastic member disposed in the opener housing and elastically supporting the locking pin to allow the locking pin to be positioned on the profile of the heart-shaped cam.

Time of flight based security for multiple key fobs

A system for passive locking and unlocking a vehicle is described that includes a memory for storing executable instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to unlock the vehicle using a time of flight to transmit the trigger request between the vehicle and the first key fob. The processor receives, from a first key fob, a trigger request to unlock the vehicle, and determines, based key fob identifiers that identify the first key fob and a second key fob that is also near the vehicle, that the first and second key fobs are associated with a vehicle. The processor selects the first key fob based on a key fob characteristic. The processor evaluates the time of flight using the first key fob, and unlocks the vehicle based on the time of flight satisfying a threshold for signal transmission flight time.
