A striker includes a striker pad, a wire, a securing element, and a deformable spacer. The securing element exerts a securing force. The spacer includes a first end that receives the securing force and a second end that contacts the vehicle body. The spacer creates a clearance between the striker pad and the vehicle body when a first torque value is applied to the securing element so that the striker pad is movable along a first axis through a force exerted by the latch of a vehicle door, the latch cooperating with the wire when closing the door. The spacer is configured to deform to allow contact between the striker pad and the vehicle body when a second torque value is applied to the securing element.

Striker mounted endgate damper

An endgate striker assembly engageable with an endgate latch, wherein the endgate striker assembly has a striker and an overmolded-annular shoulder. The striker has an attachment portion at one end, a head at the opposite end and a cylindrical shaft between the attachment portion and the head. The overmolded-annular shoulder is between the cylindrical shaft and the attachment portion. The overmolded-annular shoulder has an annular damper and an annular shoulder. The annular damper is molded over the surface of the annular shoulder facing the cylindrical shaft and at least part of the outer circumferential surface of the annular shoulder.

An embodiment vehicular door-opening-and-closing device includes a latch, a striker configured to be lockably fitted into the latch, and a magnet configured to maintain the striker in a state of being fitted into the latch. In an embodiment, the magnet has a magnetic force exceeding a repulsive force of a weather strip generated by compression of the weather strip, and the magnetic force exceeds the repulsive force in an initial operation of opening a vehicle door.

Motor vehicle lock

A motor vehicle lock, including a detent mechanism with a catch and a pawl. The motor vehicle lock may include a drivetrain arrangement with a drive element that may move in a predefined drive direction. During a cinching sequence, the drive element moves in the predefined drive direction, so that the drivetrain arrangement engages and drives the catch in a closing direction to a primary closed position. During a release sequence, the drive element may move in the predefined drive direction, so that the drivetrain arrangement engages and drives the pawl in a release direction to a release state. During the release sequence, the drive element moves in the predefined drive direction, so that the drivetrain arrangement moves to a clearance state, such that the pawl is in a release state and the catch may pivot to an open position drivetrain.

A striker on a lower part of a doorway of a vehicle body includes: first and second engagement parts on a metal base and fixed to the vehicle body to be apart from each other to respectively engage with a door latch device on a lower part of a door capable of closing the doorway and a dislocation prevention part adjacent the door latch device; a pair of front and rear engagement pieces on a vehicle interior side of the base respectively opposite the first and second engagement parts; a reinforcing piece between the first and second engagement pieces; and an elastic body fixed to the base by the first and second engagement pieces and the reinforcing piece. The elastic body has a convex portion that abuts against an inner panel of the door when the door is closed. The convex portion is supported by the reinforcing piece.

B-pillarless opposite sliding door

Embodiments provide a B-pillarless opposite sliding door in which a hook fastening means is used instead of an upper latch to be installed at an upper end of the B pillarless opposite sliding door. An upper end of a door B-pillar beam, which serves to support a B-pillar, can fastened to a roof part of a vehicle body to ensure a ceiling strength performance when the hook fastening means is applied.

Striker mounting structure

A striker mounting structure is designed to mount a striker on a vehicle body and prevent a door from entering a passenger compartment. A reinforcement provided on the vehicle body is covered by an outer panel. A striker mounting surface is arranged to be spaced away from the reinforcement in a front/backward direction of the vehicle body. The reinforcement is provided with an insertion hole opening toward a direction away from the passenger compartment. The striker and a reinforcement member are fixed to opposite sides of the striker mounting surface. A connecting rod is fixed to the reinforcement member and is formed with a locking portion extending into the insertion hole in a direction toward the passenger compartment and formed with an abutment portion. A distance between an end of the abutment portion and the passenger compartment is smaller than a distance between the striker and the passenger compartment.

An aircraft landing gear includes a landing gear provided with a yoke supporting a spindle on which is mounted a capture pin to be hooked by a hook of a locking box to be mounted on a structure of an aircraft to immobilize the landing gear in a given position with respect to the structure. The capture pin includes a body provided with a longitudinal opening enabling the capture pin to be mounted on the spindle, and an outer surface of revolution having a central portion having a convex profile to cooperate with the hook. A central portion of the outer surface is formed on a central ring which is mounted so as to rotate freely on a central portion of the body.

Door striker attaching structure and utility vehicle including the same

In a door striker attaching structure, a door striker includes a rod and a base plate, in which the base plate includes rod support portions to which the rod is connected, and a pair of fastening portions through which the base plate is fastened to a vehicle body of a utility vehicle. The vehicle body is provided with fastening holes to which the fastening portions are fastened, and each of the fastening holes is an elongated hole having two central portions. The door striker is symmetric with respect to a first center line that connects centers of the fastening portions, and by inverting the door striker along the first center line, a second center line that connects centers of the rod support portions is biased in a direction along the first center line by a distance equal to a central distance between the central portions of the fastening holes.
