Latch device for vehicle
A latch device for a vehicle includes an engageable member having an engageable notch engageable with a striker, a shaft member by which the engageable member is rotatably supported, a first body including a first support portion by which one end of the shaft member is supported, and a second body including a coupling portion coupled to the first body, and a second support portion by which another end of the shaft member is supported. The engageable member is rotatable about the shaft member between a first position in which engagement with the striker is achievable and a second position in which disengagement from the striker is permitted. With the first body, an entrance of the engageable notch through which the striker comes in the engageable notch in a state where the engageable member is in the first position is covered from one side in an axial direction of the shaft member. With the second body, the engageable notch in the state where the engageable member is in the first position is not covered, but left uncovered in entirety, from another side in the axial direction of the shaft member.
CLOSURE LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH DOUBLE PAWL MECHANISM
A closure latch assembly for installation in a vehicle door and method of construction thereof is provided. The closure latch assembly has at least one ratchet, a primary pawl, and an auxiliary pawl. At least one ratchet is moveable between a striker capture position and a striker release position. The primary pawl is moveable between a closed position and an open position. The auxiliary pawl is moveable between a closed position and an open position. An auxiliary pawl release lever is moveable between a rest position, whereat the auxiliary pawl is located in its closed position and the primary pawl is located in its closed position, and an engaged position, whereat the auxiliary pawl is moved to its open position and the primary pawl is moved to its open position.
VEHICLE DOOR LATCH DEVICE
A vehicle door latch device comprises an outside lever, a locking lever, a holding member, an opening link and a spring. The spring applies an urging force, smaller than an elastic holding force of the holding member in an unlocking direction, to the opening link. A coil is held in a holding recess of a rotation central portion of the opening link. The first arm engages with the outside lever, and the second arm engages with the opening link. If a panic state occurs, the locking lever can rotate to an unlock position, and the opening link returns to an initial position before a releasing action and is moved to the unlock position by the urging force of the spring.
Electric Door Latch Apparatus for Vehicle
An electric door latch apparatus includes a catch part for unlocking a door to a vehicle body by being caught by a striker mounted on the vehicle body or selectively unlocking the door from the vehicle body by being separated from the striker, a door locking/unlocking part for unlocking or locking the catch part to the striker by applying a rotational force of a main motor to the catch part, a master lock link for selectively rotating the catch part, a key lever for selectively restricting a rotation of the master lock link, an inside emergency operating lever rotatable by an inside handle for selectively rotating the master lock link, a manual emergency door unlocking part movable by a rotation of the inside emergency operating lever for selectively providing an elastic force to the key lever, and an electric emergency door unlocking part for selectively moving the key lever.
Motor vehicle lock
A motor vehicle lock in a fitted state interacts with a striker. The motor vehicle lock includes an adjustable catch and an adjustable locking pawl. The catch is adjustable into a main locking state and into an opening state, and the locking pawl is adjustable into an entry state, and into a lifted state. The motor vehicle lock includes a tensioning mechanism. When the catch is in the main locking state and the locking pawl is in the entry state, the tensioning mechanism can be brought into a tensioned state in which the tensioning mechanism introduces a mechanical preload into the catch in its opening direction. The tensioning mechanism can be brought into a relaxed state, in which the preload originating from the tensioning mechanism is reduced or cancelled.
Vehicular Door-Opening-and-Closing Device
An embodiment vehicular door-opening-and-closing device includes a latch, a striker configured to be lockably fitted into the latch, and a magnet configured to maintain the striker in a state of being fitted into the latch. In an embodiment, the magnet has a magnetic force exceeding a repulsive force of a weather strip generated by compression of the weather strip, and the magnetic force exceeds the repulsive force in an initial operation of opening a vehicle door.
Motor vehicle door lock
A motor vehicle door lock, particularly a motor vehicle bonnet lock, includes a ratchet mechanism which substantially consists of a rotary latch and a pawl. The ratchet mechanism interacts with a lock retainer pin on a vehicle bonnet. A retention element is additionally provided which holds the pawl in a retention position, raised from the rotary latch, during unlocking of the bonnet. The lock retainer pin continues to engage in the rotary latch when in said retention position. During a first opening process which proceeds from the retention position, the lock retainer pin transfers the retention element into a release position that releases the pawl. During a subsequent bonnet closing process, the pawl can thus engage in the rotary latch, which can be pivoted without exertion of force by the lock retainer pin at least into the hold position.
MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK
A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, which has a lever arrangement consisting of at least two levers. The two levers are supported coaxially with respect to each other on a common bearing pin. The bearing pin is anchored in a lock housing. According to the invention, the bearing pin consists of at least two parts, namely a plug-in pin and a plug-in pin receptacle. Each bearing pin part is provided with one stop which together form a spacer between the two levers.
Vehicular closure latch assembly with roller-type latch mechanism and cinch mechanism
A latch assembly for a motor vehicle closure system having a latch mechanism, a latch release mechanism and a power cinching mechanism. The latch mechanism is operable in a released state when a closure panel is located in an open position, in a secondary closed state when the closure panel is located in a partially-closed position, and in a primary closed state when the closure panel is located in a fully-closed position. The cinching mechanism interacts with the latch mechanism to establish the secondary closed state and is actuated for shifting the latch mechanism from its secondary closed state into its primary closed state.
Vehicle door latch apparatus
Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release mean. The present vehicle door latch apparatus includes ratchet member that engages latch and that can be released from latch by release component force F2, latch restraint that prevents ratchet member from being disengaged from latch and powered release means that moves ratchet restraint. Ratchet member includes base lever and pawl lever. When ratchet restraint is moved, base lever is moved to a non-regulated position, where pawl lever can be disengaged from latch by release component force F2. Manual release means is connected to pawl lever. Lock mechanism is provided between pawl lever and manual release means.
