Exit device with over-travel mechanism
An over-travel mechanism configured to couple an input shaft and an output shaft in an exit device assembly. The input is connected to an actuator that linearly displaces the input shaft, and the output shaft is connected to a locking member of the exit device. The over-travel mechanism includes a link coupled to the output shaft, and a preloaded elastic member transmits force between the input shaft and the link. Movement of the input shaft from a first input shaft position to a second input shaft position causes the elastic member to urge the link from a first link position toward a second link position. Movement of the input shaft from the second input shaft position to a third input shaft position causes the elastic member to elastic member to elastically deform without moving the link from the second link position.

Latch assembly for glovebox
A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.
Door latch with low operating noise
A door latch assembly is provided with enhanced acoustic dampening characteristics, and includes a door bolt assembly having an inside barrel and an outside barrel configured for accommodating reciprocal sliding action of the inside barrel between a latch position and a release position. At least one barrel acoustic isolator is associated with at least one of the inside barrel and the outside barrel, and is configured for dampening sound generated by the reciprocal action.

PUSH AND/OR PULL HANDLE LOCKSETS
A push and/or pull handle lockset, comprising: latch tongue (4) in first extended position, and operable to second retracted position; biasing means (6) urging the latch tongue (4) in first position; a linking means (12) to link the latch tongue to the actuator (16); sliding shaft (20) extending through lockset roses (27, 36), and operable from first position to second operating position; a biasing means (26) urging the sliding shaft to first position; an engagement means (21) for sliding shaft (20) to engage with actuator (16); lock accommodations (22, 30) for locking means; actuator (16) to translate movement of said sliding shaft to operate latch tongue (4) into second position; locking means (45) interposed between the lockset roses in parallel alignment with sliding shaft (20) including latch arm (46) which is rotatable in and out of lock sockets (22, 30); lockset unit operation is reversed by rotating the lockset unit one hundred and eighty degrees (180°) about it's horizontal lateral axis, changing the direction of actuator (16) or handle (43, 44) operation.

LOCKING ASSEMBLY WITH TRIGGER HANDLE
A latching handleset assembly includes a handle, a trigger, and a latch driver. The handle has a handle portion and a top mounting portion that extends from an escutcheon. The top mounting portion has a top surface and a bottom that is at least partially obscured by the handle portion. The trigger includes an exterior end located along the bottom of the top mounting portion and an interior end extending into the escutcheon. The trigger is pivotable about a pivot point positioned within the escutcheon. The latch driver is movable between a neutral position and a latch actuating position in response to actuation of the trigger.
KEYED LOCKSET OPERABLE BY PIVOTING ACTUATOR ABOUT A FIRST AXIS OR A SECOND AXIS
A lockset (10) is actuable by pivoting a lever (14,16) about a longitudinal axis of the lockset (10) by rotating the lever (14,16) and by pivoting the lever (14,16) about an axis transverse to the lockset axis, such as by pushing or pulling. The lockset (10) includes an inside lever (14) and an outside lever (16), each associated with an independent mechanism, each of which can independently actuate the lockset (10). A keyed locking cylinder (250) is disposed axially in the outside lever (16) and pivots with the outside lever (16). The keyed lock cylinder (250) has an opening that pivotably engages an actuator (260). The actuator (260) extends into a retractor assembly (33) of the lockset (10) and is configured to perform an unlocking or locking function when actuated.
