LATCH ASSEMBLY HAVING INTEGRAL FASTENERS AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SAME
A door latch assembly for a closure pivotable between an open position and a closed position includes an inside housing and an outside housing in juxtaposed relation with one another and mounted to an opening in the closure to define an enclosure. A resilient integral latch post is substantially disposed upon and extending from one of the inside or outside housing, and a corresponding integral receptacle is substantially disposed upon the other of the inside or outside housing. The integral receptacle is aligned with the resilient latch post so as to receive and restrain a notch on the resilient latch post upon a catch on the integral receptacle and thereby secure the inside and outside housing one to the other.
Closure latch assemblies
Latch assemblies for opening and closing openable structures having a housing defining a cavity, a handle movably mounted to the housing, and a latching mechanism between the handle and the housing. The latching mechanism includes at least one guide pin mounted to the housing, a first body movable along the at least one guide pin and having a first latching element extending through the housing, a second body movable along the at least one guide pin and having a second latching element extending through the housing, a first link attached to the first body, a second link attached to the second body, and a link connector operably connecting the first link to the second link, wherein movement of the link connector urges the first latching element and the second latching element apart through movement of the first link and the second link and the first body and the second body.
Dual latch assembly for openable structures
Latch systems for opening and closing openable structures including a first latch assembly, a second latch assembly separated from the first latch assembly, and an assembly connector operably connecting the first latch assembly to the second latch assembly such that operation of one of the first latch assembly and the second latch assembly causes operation of the other of the first latch assembly and the second latch assembly through the assembly connector. Lateral movement of a portion of the first latch assembly in operation causes lateral movement of the assembly connector which causes lateral movement of a portion of the second latch assembly to thus operate the second latch assembly.
Lock device for opening and closing body
A lock device includes lock portions, a pair of rods, a base member, a rotary member, and a manipulation member. The rotary member has a rod link portion coupled with the rods and transmit rotational power of the rotary member to the rods and a guide wall located inside the rod link portion in the rotary member and guides the rods. The guide wall includes arc walls or a cylindrical wall whose axis coincides with the rotation center of the rotary member. When viewed from a direction perpendicular to a bottom surface of the base member, the erection wall and the guide wall are opposed to each other with a gap. Coming-off-preventive structures for preventing the rod from coming off when the rod is inserted in the gap and coupled with the rod link portion is provided between the rod and the erection wall.
LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR GLOVEBOX
A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.
HANDLE DEVICE
There is provided a handle device. The handle device includes a base member, a handle member, and a swing member. The handle member has a grasp portion. The swing member includes a handle-side abutting portion, a base-side abutting portion, and a rotational pivot portion. As the handle-side abutting portion comes away from a bottom portion of the base member, the base-side abutting portion comes close to the bottom portion of the base member.
LOCK DEVICE
A lock device for holding an openable and closable member mounted on an opening portion of a fixed member, includes a base member, an operation member, and a rod. The operation member has an operating portion exposed to a front side of an outer member, and a pivotally supporting portion pivotally supported on the base member. The base member has a hook portion configured to be hooked on a mounting edge portion formed on the outer member, and a locking claw portion configured to be locked on a locking edge portion formed on a rear side of the outer member to restrict the base member from moving in a direction in which the base member moves away from a rear surface of the outer member.
Latch
A latch includes a first locking bolt, where a first extended position of the first locking bolt defines a first locked condition and a first retracted position defines a first unlocked condition. The latch also includes a second locking bolt, where a second extended position of the second locking bolt defines a second locked condition and a second retracted position defines a second unlocked condition. A biasing member operatively connects to the first locking bolt to bias the first locking bolt in the first extended position. A lever pivotally connects to the housing and operatively connects to the first locking bolt such that movement of the lever from a closed position to an opened position causes at least the first locking bolt to move from the first extended position to the first retracted position. A locking indicator is provided in associated with the second locking bolt.
