Opposed hook sliding door lock
A sliding door lock system has a centrally-disposed operator. The operator has a casing with a trigger retractably extended from the casing. An operator mechanism disposed in the casing is operatively engaged with the trigger. A lock remotely disposed from the operator has a housing. A pair of opposed locking hooks extend from the housing and a spring biases each hook into an unlocked position. A block pivotably connected to the housing is configured to engage the hooks when the hooks are in a locked position. An elongate member operably connects the operator mechanism to the block.
Gravity Gate Latch Lockable and Unlockable by a Padlock from Both Sides of a Gate
A gravity gate latch that is sized and configured to be positioned in the gap between the free end of a gate and a stationary object when the end of the gate is adjacent the stationary object to automatically engage a strike member on the gate. The gate latch has a pair of side plates that are spaced apart to define a space that encloses a lever actuating mechanism and a hook plate. The hook plate has a hook member that engages the strike member of the gate. The lever actuating mechanism has a pair of lever arms, which can be accessed from either side of the gate, that move the hook plate upward to disengage the strike member. A lock receiving member at the bottom of the gate latch receives a padlock to lock the gate latch. The padlock can also be accessed from either side of the gate.
Panel Lock Assembly
An apparatus for locking a panel to a strike jamb includes a synchronous displacement mechanism associated with a locking element (108) which is responsive to part of a closing motion of a panel (104) from an open position towards a closed position to initiate a motion of locking element (108) towards the locked position during the closing motion of the panel prior to the panel reaching its closed position. The synchronous displacement mechanism preferably has a “deadlock state” when the locking element is in the locked position which prevents displacement of the locking element towards the unlocked position.
Low closure force motorized latch
A motorized appliance latch provides for a spring-biased strike grip that can be engaged and disengaged from the strike with low force but then locked in a close position during closing of the door to allow the strike to be retained against countervailing gasket compression forces. In this way, an arbitrarily low force may be required by the consumer to close or open the door when the door is unsealed by the motor.
AIRCRAFT BARRIER SYSTEM HAVING A DELAYING UNLOCKING MECHANISM, AND AIRCRAFT AREA AND AIRCRAFT HAVING SUCH AIRCRAFT BARRIER SYSTEM
An aircraft barrier system separating, within an aircraft, a secure area from a passenger cabin of the aircraft, comprises a barrier installed inside the passenger cabin and configured to move between an open position and a closed position, a latch mounted to the barrier, and a locking device comprising a latching clamp configured to lock the latch when the barrier is in the closed position. The aircraft barrier system further comprises a release mechanism configured to move the latching clamp from a locking state locking the latch to an unlocking state releasing the latch, wherein the release mechanism is further configured to delay the moving of the latching clamp from the locking state to the unlocking state. Also, an aircraft area and an aircraft having such aircraft barrier system.

Refrigerator
Disclosed are a fixing device and a refrigerator having the same. The fixing device includes a clasp (400) installed to a first member (12), the clasp having a contact portion (402, 404) defining a plane, and a coupler (500) installed to a second member (100), the coupler serving to fix the second member to the first member to enable selective coupling or release of the second member and the first member. The coupler includes a hook (510) having a protruding tip portion (511) configured to come into contact with the contact portions (402, 404) so as to be caught by the contact portion (404), the hook being rotatable, and an elastic member (52,0) configured to elastically support the hook such that the hook is rotated toward the clasp. A contact position of the protruding tip portion and the contact portion is spaced apart from a rotation center of the hook by a predetermined distance (d).
