Tailgate opening system having two connecting rods
A rear vehicle assembly includes a body structure, a moveable tailgate, and an opening and closing device. The opening and closing device includes connecting rods fixing the tailgate to the body structure. The connecting rods are hinged at a first end to the body structure and at a second end to a lateral edge of the tailgate. One of the connecting rods includes first and second rectilinear sections and a curved section. The first and second rectilinear sections are located on respective concave and convex sides of the curved section.
Retractable Hard Panel Tonneau Cover
A tonneau cover for a vehicle that includes a first panel and a second panel, the second panel is arranged rearward of the first panel in vehicle position when the tonneau cover is in a closed position; the first panel is connected to a first mechanism to guide the first panel into a storage compartment, and the second panel is connected to a second mechanism to guide the second panel into the storage compartment, the first panel is moveable into the storage compartment independently of the second panel.
Hinge assembly
A hinge assembly includes first and second linkage rods pivoted to a base seat, a cam connected to the first and second linkage rods, and a kickstand support pivoted to the cam. A latch is disposed in the cam. When the first and second linkage rods, the kickstand support, and the cam are received inside the base seat, the latch is in a first locking position, where the latch locks rotational movement of the kickstand support relative to the cam. When the second linkage rod moves outward of the base seat and brings the first linkage rod to rotate relative to the cam, the latch is pushed by the kickstand support to move into a second locking position, where the first linkage rod is limited from rotating relative to the cam.
TAILGATE OPENING SYSTEM HAVING TWO CONNECTING RODS
The rear vehicle assembly comprises: a body structure delimiting an opening, a tailgate that is movable relative to the body structure between an open position, and a closed position, an opening and closing device comprising at least a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod fixing the tailgate to the body structure, wherein the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod are each hinged at a first end to the body structure, and at a second end to the first lateral edge of the tailgate.
The first connecting rod comprises a first rectilinear section, a curved section, and a second rectilinear section.
HINGE ASSEMBLY
A hinge assembly includes first and second linkage rods pivoted to a base seat, a cam connected to the first and second linkage rods, and a kickstand support pivoted to the cam. A latch is disposed in the cam. When the first and second linkage rods, the kickstand support, and the cam are received inside the base seat, the latch is in a first locking position, where the latch locks rotational movement of the kickstand support relative to the cam. When the second linkage rod moves outward of the base seat and brings the first linkage rod to rotate relative to the cam, the latch is pushed by the kickstand support to move into a second locking position, where the first linkage rod is limited from rotating relative to the cam.
CLOSURE SYSTEM
A closure system in a vehicle for opening and closing openings for an air passage includes at least two closure elements fitted to a closure carrier. The at least two closure elements close or release the same number of openings and are moved together. The closure carrier is supported on bearings on the vehicle at the respective end regions of the longitudinal extent of the closure carrier, and is pivoted by way of a single actuator with a gear mechanism and a lever drive about articulation locations on the vehicle. The lever drive drives additional levers in the end region of the closure carrier which is spaced apart from the actuator by way of a square shaft.
SYNCHRONIZING DEVICE FOR MOVING A MOVABLE FURNITURE PART
A synchronization device includes at least two drive devices for moving a movable furniture part and a synchronization rod for synchronizing a movement of the drive devices. A first end region of the synchronization rod is connected to a first pivoting member of the first drive device, and a second end region of the synchronization rod is connected to a second pivoting member of the second drive device. A length compensating device is configured to at least partially compensate for a play between the drive devices and the synchronization rod along a longitudinal direction of the synchronization rod in a mounted condition of the synchronization rod. At least one of the drive devices includes a housing, and the length compensating device is at least partially integrated into the housing and/or the length compensating device is at least partially integrated into the synchronization rod.
ITEM OF FURNITURE
A piece of furniture includes a furniture body with an upper floor, a flap, and least one flap fitting arranged on the upper floor in order to hold the flap movably between a position closing a storage space of the furniture body and an opening position. The flap fitting includes a housing, on which a support arm is rotatably mounted, which includes a retaining element for fixing the flap, and an energy store for applying a force to the support arm. A damper is provided for braking a movement of the support arm in the closing direction shortly before the closing position is reached. The damper can be moved via an actuating element mounted in the housing and the support arm can be braked via the actuating element when the flap is moved in the closing direction shortly before reaching the closing position.
FLAP FITTING AND ITEM OF FURNITURE
A flap fitting includes a housing, on which a support arm is rotatably mounted, which includes a retaining element for fixing a flap, and an energy store, by means of which the support arm can be pre-tensioned in a rotational direction. The support arm is articulated to a drive lever which is articulated to a deflection lever, and the energy store is connected to an adjustable connection on the deflection lever via an articulation element. This allows the flap fitting to be flexibly adapted to the weight of a flap.
TONNEAU COVER WITH LINKAGE FREE BOW SYSTEM
A tonneau cover assembly including a plurality of biasing pivots assisting and operably dampening the movement of a plurality of fabric management bows when moving the tonneau cover between a closed position and open position and back. Biasing pivots help to load the plurality of fabric management bows and, when the tonneau cover is opening, the bows manage the fabric. According to aspects of the present invention, at least two pairs of biasing pivots are biased away from each other to maintain tonneau cover fabric tension. At least one addition biasing pivot dampens the fall of the plurality of fabric management bows opening and also assists with the tonneau cover assembly's balance when closing and prevent binding.
