The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
Hinge for an item of furniture
The invention relates to a hinge for an item of furniture, comprising a first and a second hinge part (100, 200) that are pivotably interconnected by means of a hinged connection, the second hinge part (200) carrying or comprising a mounting element (300), the mounting element (300) comprising at least one guide assembly comprising at least one guide (405) that extends in the direction of a longitudinal axis (L) of the mounting element (300), the mounting element (300) being connected to a retaining part (400) when in the mounting position, and the guide assembly acting between the mounting element (300) and the retaining part (400), by means of which guide assembly the mounting element (300) can be moved into a mounting position in a manner guided in the guide direction. A significant improvement in the ease of mounting is achieved in a hinge of this kind if the guide assembly comprises a first centering guide (406), by means of which the mounting element (300) is aligned in a first mounting direction when adjusted in the guide direction (L).
Method of adapting electronic equipment structure for cable management
A method of adapting an electronic equipment structure for cable management, the method comprising: providing a cable manager having one or more cable finger units extending from a frame, the frame including at least one spine member having an extruded construction and one or more ledges that extend along a length thereof; providing an accessory rod assembly having a base member and an accessory rod, wherein the base member includes a front-facing socket, a rear-facing hook, and a rotatable knob having a threaded end received within a threaded portion at a side of the base member, and wherein the accessory rod has an extruded construction and a generally uniform, at least partially cylindrical, cross-sectional shape; positioning the rear-facing hook of the base member against one side of the one or more ledges of the at least one spine member; rotating the rotatable knob such that the threaded end is wound within the threaded portion of the base member and bears on an opposite side of the one or more ledges of the at least one spine member, thereby clamping the at least one spine member between the rear-facing hook and the rotatable knob; and positioning a proximal end of the accessory rod within the front-facing socket of the base member such that the accessory rod extends therefrom into a cable management space.
Method of installing half-spool accessory in a cable manager
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction.
Disassemblable hinge with a safety catch
The invention relates to a disassemblable hinge (1) having a latching member (2), adapted to be associated with an openable door (20), and a hinge member (3), adapted to be associated with a corresponding door frame (21). The latching member (2) comprises a main body (4) and a catch (5), wherein said main body (4) comprises a hinge slot (6) adapted to receive said hinge member (3), wherein said catch (5) is rotatably engageable with said hinge member (3) around a first axis (A1). The catch (5) is movable between a closed state and an open state, and into a disengaged state. The catch (5) and said hinge slot (6) defines a space (14) for housing said hinge member, wherein said catch (5), in its closed state, locks said hinge member (3) in said space (14). The space (14) is expanded when said catch (5) is moved from said closed state to said disengaged state. The catch (5) is moved from said disengaged state to said open state by rotating said catch (5) around a second axis (A2), thereby releasing said hinge member (3) from said space (14). Thereby a disassemblable hinge is provided enabling a secure opening operation in a two step maneuver.
Features for cable managers and other electronic equipment structures
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction.
Left-right door opening mechanism for a refrigerator
A mechanism for opening a door of a refrigerator from either the left side or the right side of the door includes a pair of first modules arranged symmetrically about the center line of the door on the left side and the right side of the door, and a pair of second modules arranged symmetrically about the center line of a refrigerator body on the left side and the right side of the refrigerator body. Each first module comprises an opening and a gear which is rotatably mounted on the door.
