Ligature resistant swinging door system
A swinging door assembly includes a frame mount, a door panel, and a pivot assembly operably connecting the door panel to the frame mount such that the door panel is pivotable in two opposite directions from a closed position to first and second opened positions. When the door panel is pivoted in the first direction by an angle less than a threshold angle, or is pivoted in the second direction by an angle less than the threshold angle, the door panel is biased toward the closed position by virtue of a weight of the door panel, and when the door panel is pivoted in the first direction by an angle greater than or equal to the threshold angle, or is pivoted in the second direction by an angle greater than or equal to the threshold angle, the door panel is no longer biased toward the closed position.
Hinge
The invention relates to a hinge for a swinging door, the hinge has at least one hinge axis element, a first hinge part and a second hinge part which are connected to one another in a hinge-like manner via the at least one hinge axis element, at least one latching arrangement, which comprises at least one latching means arranged at the second hinge part and comprising a latching body, and at least one latching recess arranged at the hinge axis element, wherein the latching means is configured such that the latching body engages in the latching recess in a latching position, and a clamping means for releasably fixing the hinge axis element to the first hinge part, wherein an angular position of the hinge axis element and the latching recess with respect to the first hinge part can be adjusted. The clamping means comprises at least one pair of clamping jaws for clamping the hinge axis element between these clamping jaws, wherein each of the clamping jaws comprises a clamping surface adapted to the contour of the hinge axis element.
CHARGING FLAP OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are a seamless charging flap opening/closing device and a vehicle including the same. A charging flap cover is additionally provided with a pop-up function to also function as an opening/closing door for an air channel of an air breather, such that the charging flap cover is integrated with the air breather to be unperceivable from the outside during driving and is only opened during charging to allow a battery to be charged. The single charging flap cover is used in common by a charging flap device and the air breather maintaining independent functions. The exterior quality of a product and the efficiency of use of a package is improved, a vehicle body has a distinctive novel exterior image, and the charging flap cover is easily matched adjacently to a moving part located adjacent thereto.
Hinge for a partition element, in particular for a swing door
The invention concerns a strap hinge (1) for a separating element. The separating element takes the form of a door, for example, in particular a swing door. The strap hinge (1) comprises two active units. The strap hinge (1) is provided with securing units (27 to 29), which are actively connected to a surface owing to a radial movement. The strap hinge further comprises pressure units (40, 43). The strap hinge (1) offers the same properties as a strap hinge which is provided with a hydraulic braking device.

Shower door hinge limiter
A hinge for a door, such a glass shower door, including a back plate attachable to a surface, a hinge block extending from the back plate, a clamp rotatably coupled to the hinge block for receiving the glass shower door, and a hinge limiter attached to one of a front or a back exterior surface of the hinge block. The hinge limiter may have a length equal to or less than a length of the hinge block and a width less than a width of the hinge block. The clamp may include a stop plate on an interior surface, adjacent to a distal end of the hinge block, adapted to contact the hinge limiter upon rotation of the clamp.
Insulated Doors With Restorable Breakaway Sections
Insulated doors with restorable breakaway sections are disclosed. An example door includes a first panel assembly including a leading panel and a trailing panel. The leading panel is to be in substantially coplanar alignment with the trailing panel when the first panel assembly is in a normal configuration. The leading panel is to be angularly displaced out of coplanar alignment with the trailing panel when the first panel assembly is in a dislodged configuration. The example door further includes a tension member to connect the leading panel to the trailing panel. The tension member is to resiliently urge the leading panel and the trailing panel toward each other in a horizontal direction. The tension member is to resiliently urge the first panel assembly toward the normal configuration when the first panel assembly is in the dislodged configuration.
