METHOD FOR OPENING AND CLOSING A VEHICLE ROOF, CORRESPONDING OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
A method for opening and closing a retractable roof of a convertible vehicle, wherein the roof includes a first portion and a second portion, connected together. The method includes: moving the first portion relative to the second portion between a first position and a second position, such that, at the first position, the first portion is at least partly superposed on the second portion and, at the second position, the first portion lies in substantially the same plane as the second portion, rotating the first and second portions about an axis of rotation, and translating the superposed first and second portions between a first position and a second position, such that, at the first position, the first and second portions are inside a compartment in the vehicle and, at the second position, the first and second portions are outside the compartment.
Gated barrier with lift lock
The present lift lock includes a slide having feet and a slot between the feet, where such slide further includes an interior generally full length wall for acting as a stop, and where such slide further includes gripping ribs that increase in width from the front end of the slide to the rear end of the slide.
DOOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE AND A VEHICLE COMPRISING A DOOR SYSTEM
A door system for a vehicle includes a vehicle body structure having an opening to an interior compartment of the vehicle and a door structure. The door system includes a displacement mechanism that displaces the door structure in relation to the opening between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position the door structure covers at least a portion of the opening, and in the open position is at a distance from the closed position in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body structure. The door structure comprises a recess configured to receive at least a section of a wheel envelope of a wheel. The recess allows a door part of the door structure to cover the wheel in close vicinity to the vehicle body structure in a lateral direction of the vehicle body structure and prevents the wheel from contacting the door structure.

GLOVE BOX
A glove box includes a cover embedded in a dashboard of a vehicle in a state in which a front of the cover is open, a housing having one open surface covered by the cover and selectively opening or closing the front of the cover through a preset rotational trajectory, transfer links each arranged between one of outer ends of the housing and a corresponding one of inner ends of the cover and providing a rotational trajectory of the housing, and an elastic member that corrects rotational forces of the transfer links. The transfer links includes first and second link parts each having a first end rotatably connected to an inner lower portion of the cover and a second end rotatably connected to an outer upper portion of the housing, and being spaced apart from each other with the same length and the same mounting angle.
Door system having a swing interlock system
A door system includes a header having a guide rail that has a central portion having a notch. A panel hanger is slidably coupled to the header. A door panel has a handle end portion releasably coupled to the panel hanger and a pivot end portion pivotably coupled to the panel hanger. The panel hanger and the door panel slide in unison between a closed position and a fully open position along a longitudinal plane. An interlock plate is positioned to extend upwardly from the door panel, and has a downwardly extending guide slot that slidably receives the guide rail of the header. When the door panel is in the fully open position, the interlock plate is aligned with the notch of the guide rail of the header in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal plane to facilitate a pivoting of the door panel away from the longitudinal plane.

BARRIER ISOLATOR
An isolator comprises a manipulation chamber isolated from the external atmosphere, a door for opening and closing a portal formed on the manipulation chamber, a linear guide mechanism for guiding a linear motion of a front-side edge of the door along the portal, and a rotation guide mechanism defining a rotation of the door about an axis coinciding with the front-side edge. The door is closed by positioning the front-side edge at the front side of the manipulation chamber, and the door is opened inward into the manipulation chamber by moving the front-side edge toward the back side while rotating the door about the front-side edge.
MERCHANDISE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A modular merchandise display system is provided. The system comprises an enclosure, a first upper bracket and a first lower bracket forming a first pocket on a first side of the enclosure, and a second upper bracket and a second lower bracket forming a second pocket on a second side of the enclosure. A first security door is slidably and pivotally connected to the first upper and lower brackets. A second security door slidably and pivotally connected to the second upper and lower brackets. The security doors can be positioned exterior of the enclosure and then pivoted about the upper and lower brackets to be positioned substantially parallel to the front of the enclosure in a closed position. The security doors can then be secured to one another in the closed position.
REAR DOOR ASSEMBLY
A rear door assembly having a bracket, a rear door, a first movement mechanism and a second movement mechanism. The rear door has lateral side with a slot formed therein. The first movement mechanism is attached to a rearward area of a vehicle and is configured to move bracket and the rear door from a closed orientation covering a rear opening in the vehicle body structure to at least an intermediate orientation partially uncovering a rear opening of a vehicle. The bracket has a pair of support pins extending in that extend into the slot with the support pins being supported on rollers within the slot. The second movement mechanism is disposed within the rear door to move the rear door relative to the support pins of the bracket along the slot.
