A hinge assembly for a door of a household appliance has a first hinge and a second hinge. The first hinge includes a base portion and a door receiving portion. The base portion includes at least one elongated slot to receive a fastener. The elongated slot enables positioning of the door receiving portion. The second hinge includes a mounting block and a door plate. The door plate has a door receiving portion that has at least one elongated slot to enable positioning of the door receiving portion. The door plate is secured via at least one fastener to the mounting block. The mounting block is movable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the door plate for positioning the door.

HINGE AND DOOR MECHANISM

Provided is a hinge and a door mechanism that are mounted on a large-sized and heavy door that requires sealing property and difficult adjustment. The hinge includes: a fulcrum shaft; an adjustment shaft that is disposed adjacently to and parallel to the fulcrum shaft; a housing-side fixing portion that supports the fulcrum shaft; a door-side fixing portion that supports the adjustment shaft; and a link portion that allows the fulcrum shaft and the adjustment shaft to pass therethrough and connects the housing-side fixing portion and the door-side fixing portion to each other, wherein the body fixing portion includes an adjustment-use body fixing portion provided with a link adjustment portion that approximately fixes the link portion to an arbitrary angle with respect to the door-side fixing portion, and the body fixing portion includes at least two adjustment-use body fixing portions.

The adjustment device includes at least one movably-supported adjustment element, and the position of the first fitting portion relative to the second fitting portion can be adjusted by an actuation of the at least one adjustment element. Upon actuation of the at least one adjustment element, the position of the first fitting portion and the position of the second fitting portion can be synchronously and symmetrically adjusted in relation to the at least one hinge axis.

In the region of the second rod section (17), the rod (15) is adjustable relative to the first housing part (20) in two directions at an angle to each other and independently of each other, and the two directions at an angle to each other are arranged transversely to the axial direction (60) of the rod (15).

Embodiments of the present invention are related to an improved gate hinge with a post assembly including an L-Bracket, a post assembly extension, and a swing axis bolt with a T-Joint. A gate assembly includes an L-Bracket and gate assembly extension. The post assembly and gate assembly are connected via connecting bolt. The swing axis bolt is oriented vertically on the post assembly extension and the connecting bolt is oriented horizontally on the gate assembly extension. The connecting bolt connects the gate assembly to the post assembly at the T-Joint. The gate assembly extension rotates via the T-Joint on the swing axis bolt. The post assembly extension distally extends a bottom portion of a gate attached to the gate assembly relative to a top portion of the gate. The distal extension creates an elevated angle between the gate bottom and ground when the improved gate hinge is actuated.
