A breakaway hinge for a portable medical device, such as a cart-borne ultrasound system, enables the movement of an access door in other dimensions than the hinge access. The hinge includes a sliding magnet which attaches to a fixed magnet, and a hinge pin, all acting together to allow the door to open, to shift the door away from the hinge, and to detach the door as desired.

The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications enclosures that can be customizable to include a hinge. That is, a separate hinge may be utilized as an add-on feature for telecommunications enclosures. The hinge can be attached to at least two different sides of an enclosure or may not be utilized at all. Such a configuration allows for flexibility of a variety of designs for a telecommunications enclosure. The hinge can be mountable to interfaces of first and second housing pieces of an enclosure. The hinge can have rotational features and/or translational features for pivoting first and second housing pieces of an enclosure between first and second positions.

Such a hinge allows heavy doors to be hinged on in a simple manner.

A multi-joint link hinge includes a hinge bracket, a plurality of links axially coupled to the hinge bracket, and a door bracket coupled to the plurality of links. The hinge bracket includes a base portion that defines a plurality of screw coupling holes at a vertical surface thereof, a plurality of side portions that extend from the base portion in a horizontal direction and are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, and a side surface portion that extends from the base portion in the vertical direction and defines a fixing groove. A detachable hinge assembly configured to rotatably couple a window assembly to a vehicle body includes a support hinge member configured to couple to the vehicle body and including a hinge pin, and a window hinge member having a main body configured to couple to the window assembly, and one or more knuckles configured to removably receive the hinge pin. A cover is rotatably coupled to the window hinge member and includes a pin retaining arm. The cover is configured to move between a closed position where the pin retaining arm is positioned to retain the hinge pin within the one or more knuckles, and an open position where the pin retaining arm is positioned to allow the hinge pin to be removed from the one or more knuckles.

A home appliance has a door capable of being opened and closed in opposite directions. The home appliance includes a main body having an inner space and a door rotatably installed on the right or left side of the main body to open and close the inner space. A first door opening/closing system is provided on the right sides of the main body and the door to be involved in a right opening of the door. A mainframe door assembly for a frame is provided. The mainframe door assembly includes a door having opposed first and second sides and first and second mount assemblies. The first and second mount assemblies are configured to mount the first and second sides of the door to the frame, respectively, such that the door can occupy and move between an installed position and a loading position. In the installed position, the door is flush with the frame. In the loading position, the first mount assemblies support and the second mount assemblies permit a swinging of the door about the first side or the second mount assemblies support and the first mount assemblies permit a swinging of the door about the second side.
