Cantilevered flapper door assembly for a vehicle
A flapper door assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly includes a base comprising attachment features and a flapper door connected to the base via the attachment features and a first pivot axis to allow the door to rotate between open and closed positions, wherein the flapper door further comprises at least one cantilever spring integrally formed with the flapper door, wherein the cantilever spring comprises a beam and a second pivot axis offset from the first rod to bias the flapper door to the closed position.
Vehicle door assemblies
A vehicle door assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a first door, a second door and a first hinge assembly connected to the first door and the second door. The first door is movable between a first position and a second position about the first hinge assembly, and in the second position, the first door is received against the second door.
ADJUSTABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AUTOMOBILE TAILGATE
This disclosure relates to an adjustable hinge assembly for an automobile tailgate. The hinge assembly includes a first mounting plate configured for mounting to an automobile body, a first hinge member attached to the first mounting plate, a second mounting plate configured for mounting to a tailgate, and a second hinge member attached to the second mounting plate. The first and second hinge members are hingedly connected. Adjustment screws are positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the first hinge member on the first mounting plate in the x and y-directions. An adjustment screw is positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the second hinge member on the second mounting plate in the z-direction. This is accomplished with minimal effort and tooling.
ADJUSTABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AUTOMOBILE TAILGATE
This invention relates to an adjustable hinge assembly for an automobile tailgate. The hinge assembly contains a first mounting plate configured for mounting to an automobile body, a first hinge member attached to the first mounting plate, a second mounting plate configured for mounting to a tailgate, and a second hinge member attached to the second mounting plate. The first and second hinge members are hingedly connected. Adjustment screws are positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the first hinge member on the first mounting plate in the x- and y-direction. An adjustment screw is positioned on the hinge assembly to adjust the position of the second hinge on the second mounting plate in the z-direction.
Hood hinge
A hood hinge includes a hinge stay and a hinge arm. The hinge stay includes a horizontal plate portion that is fixed to a vehicle body and a vertical plate portion that supports a second end of the hinge arm. The vertical plate portion is erected and extends in a vehicle height direction from a first end of the horizontal plate portion in a vehicle width direction. The hinge arm of the hood hinge is provided with an arm reinforcing bead and the vertical plate portion of the hinge stay is provided with a stay reinforcing bead that extends in the vehicle height direction. The stay reinforcing bead is not provided on a ridge of a connection portion between the vertical plate portion and the horizontal plate portion.

An industrial vehicle sun protector for the protection of an operator located in the cabin of an industrial vehicle, comprising: a mounting arrangement configured to be installed in the cabin of an industrial vehicle, and a rigid shade member for obstructing the passage of sun rays therethrough, the shade member being pivotably connected to the mounting arrangement such that the shade member is pivotable between a stored position and different selectable deployed positions, wherein adjustment from one of the deployed positions to another one of the deployed positions allows for protecting the operator from sun rays at different positions of the sun, wherein a pivoting of the shade member from the stored position to any one of the different selectable deployed positions results in an angular displacement of the shade member greater than 90?.

A conveyor system for loading a trailer is disclosed. The conveyor system includes a support frame adapted to couple to a floor of a trailer, a conveyance mechanism coupled to the support frame and configured to extend from a rear of the trailer toward a front of the trailer, and a conveyor rail arranged to extend between and interconnect the support frame and the conveyance mechanism.
Trailer conveyor system and spring hinge for a load deck panel
A conveyor system for loading a trailer is disclosed. The conveyor system comprises a spring hinge comprising a hinge butt portion configured to be coupled to a surface of a trailer and a hinge strap portion configured to be coupled to a bottom surface of the load deck panel. The spring hinge further includes a hinge pin coupling the hinge butt portion and the hinge strap portion, the hinge pin forming a pivot axis and a position-assist element positioned below a bottom surface of the load deck panel. The position-assist element is configured to assist in hinged movement of the load deck panel about the pivot axis between a closed position in which the load deck panel is substantially vertical and an open position in which the load deck panel is substantially horizontal.
