Disclosed is a hinge assembly comprising a first hinge leaf assembly and a second hinge leaf assembly, each having their respective hinge leaf. The first hinge leaf assembly is connectable to the second hinge leaf assembly and when so connected the first hinge leaf assembly is rotatable relative to the second hinge leaf assembly about an axis. The hinge assembly further comprises at least one mounting member fixable to a moveable barrier or a structure through a fixing arrangement. The first and/or second hinge leaf is connectable to the at least one mounting member so as to be adjustable relative thereto in a least one direction. A locking arrangement is also included to releasably lock the first and/or second hinge leaf to the at least one mounting member. The locking arrangement is operative to adopt a hold condition where relative movement between the first and/or second hinge leaf and the at least one mounting ember is prevented, and a released condition where the first and/or second hinge leaf is able to be adjusted relative to the at least one mounting member. The locking arrangement includes a locking element disposed between the first and/or second hinge leaf and the at least one mounting member, and movable relative to both the first and/or second hinge leaf and the at least one mounting member to cause the locking arrangement to adopt the hold condition or the released condition.

A hinge for a piece of furniture including at least one shoulder and at least one door, said hinge having a first hinge body and a second hinge body, where the first hinge body is connectable to the at least one shoulder of the piece of furniture and the second hinge body is connectable to the at least one door of the piece of furniture, wherein the first hinge body and the second hinge body are operatively connected to each other and relatively movable by means of adjustment means, where one of the first hinge body and the second hinge body includes a cross element, and the other of the first hinge body or the second hinge body defines a cross guide, where the cross element is housed in the cross guide, and where the cross element slides in the cross guide by means of the adjustment means.

Linear hinge for an appliance

An appliance includes a linear hinge that couples a door to a cabinet. The linear hinge includes a bearing and an elongated shaft received within the bearing such that the elongated shaft is slidable along a translation axis. A distal end portion of the elongated shaft is rotatably connected to the door such that the door is rotatable about a rotation axis that extends through the distal end portion of the elongated shaft. A first linkage arm is rotatably connected to the bearing. A second linkage arm is rotatably connected to the elongated shaft and to the first linkage arm. The distal end portion of the elongated shaft is spaced from the bearing by a gap along the translation axis when the door is closed, and a sum of a length of the first linkage arm and a length of the second linkage arm is greater than the gap.

COUPLING DEVICE

Described is a coupling device for a joining together adjacent dock segments of a dock installation including an elongate pin portion and at least one clamp portion, each positionable on respective dock segments. The pin portion has at least one elongate first clamp surface aligned along its length with a central longitudinal first axis, the pin portion being configured to be received in a corresponding pin-receiving region adjacent the clamp portion. The pin-receiving region is at least partially bordered by at least one second clamp surface which is aligned with a second axis. The clamp portion is configured to be actuated between an open pin-receiving configuration, at least partially opening the pin-receiving region along the second axis, and a pin-engaging configuration with the first clamp surface engaged with the second clamp surface. The second axis is configured to be substantially parallel with the first axis, and with a lateral axis of at least one of the dock segments, for securing the pin portion therewith, so that the pin portion is rotatable relative to the clamp portion about the first axis to accommodate relative movement between the adjacent dock segments.

Gate hinges include an anchor shaft defining a shaft axis that extends between a first end and a second end. A first support arm is arranged at a position closer to the first end than the second end and extends in a direction normal to the shaft axis from the anchor shaft and a second support arm is arranged at the same axial position as the first support arm along the anchor shaft and extends in a direction opposite the first support arm. The anchor shaft includes a first thread and a second, self-tapping thread. The first thread is arranged along the anchor shaft for an axial length between the first and second support arms and the second thread and the second thread extends axially from the first thread to a tip of the anchor shaft at the second end.
