Securable pet door
An interchangeable pet door is disclosed. The interchangeable pet door comprises a door, a knob, a plurality of windows, a frame, and a hinge. The knob comprises a latch for securely closing the door. When the interchangeable pet door comprises a hinge, inserting the hinge into a hinge recess securely locks the door. The different elements of the interchangeable pet door are configured to be oriented in a predetermined, interchangeable, or customizable manner. The door is configured to open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to a frame.
DOOR FOR MOUNTING A REMOVABLE ELECTRONIC DISPLAY
In one general aspect, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in a display case door that includes an insulated panel assembly that is transparent to visible light. The door further includes a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, an electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly, and at least one lift-off hinge including a first hinge component attached to a longitudinal side of the door frame, and a second hinge component coupled to the electronic display.
RELEASABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY
A releasable hinge assembly includes a mounting bracket, a hinge bracket, and at least one spring biased locking mechanism. The mounting bracket having a first mounting plate and two pin tabs extending therefrom, at least one of the pin tabs defining a through hole therein. The hinge bracket having a second mounting plate and a knuckle extending therefrom. The knuckle defining at least one cutout that is being L-shaped. The at least one spring biased locking mechanism having a pawl arm and a pin. The at least one locking mechanism positioned within the a channel of the hinge bracket with the pawl arm positioned within and projecting from the at least one cutout. The pawl arm configured to move within the at least one cutout to push the pin beyond a second end of the knuckle and through a through hole defined in the pin tab of the mounting bracket.
Stamping tool
A stamping tool may include a base and a cover. The cover is removably affixed to the base through a hinging assembly. The base can include a first base hinge and a second base hinge substantially perpendicular to the first base hinge. The base hinges can include hinge sections. The hinge sections can include a first wall and a second wall that can be biased to define a cavity that is accessible through a channel between the first wall and the second wall. Hinge sections can be separated by one or more receptacles. The cover can include one or more hinge bars corresponding to the hinge sections on the base. The hinge bars can have an unequal aspect ratio allowing for easy insertion and removal of the cover. The cover can also include one or more protrusions separating the hinge bars. These protrusions correspond to the receptacles on the base.
QUICK-RELEASE HINGE DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A rapidly disassembled hinge suitable for use in an aircraft includes a first attachment plate attached to a supported structure, a second attachment plate attached to a supporting structure, and a pin with a notch in an outer surface thereof, which is insertable into portions of the first and second attachment plates for pivotably connecting the first and second attachment plates together. The pin is inserted so that the notch is positioned within the second attachment structure when the hinge is in an assembled state. A key includes a main body and a distal end extending from the main body, the distal end being insertable within the notch of the pin. The key is movable such that the distal end of the key can be inserted into and removed from engagement with the notch of the pin to provide for toolless disassembly of the hinge.
Safety gate
A safety gate has a gate body and two first locking units. The gate body has two first connecting elements. The two first locking units are respectively mounted on two opposite sides of a door frame. Each first locking unit has a second connecting element and a blocking element. When the safety gate is closed, each of the first connecting elements is connected with a respective one of the second connecting elements. Each blocking element has a blocking position for blocking a corresponding first connecting element to prevent the corresponding first connecting element from being disengaged from the second connecting element and a pressed position to allow-the corresponding first connecting element to detach from the second connecting element of the first locking unit.
System and method for converting an overhead door into a gate or serving window to facilitate entertainment and other purposes
A system is disclosed for converting an overhead door into a gate or serving window, the system having at least two rows of panels spanning the width of the door, one panel located above and adjacent to the other panel, a pair of rails opposite one another and adjacent to the panels, the panels traveling within the rails to move from a closed position to an open position, and at least one hinge connecting the lower row of panels to the upper row of panels, the hinge having an upper half attached to the upper row of panels and a lower half attached to the lower row of panels, the upper and lower halves of the hinge connected by a removable central pin, wherein the upper row of panels moves from the closed position to the open position when the central pin is removed from the hinge.
Method of attaching and detaching objects allowing for controlled rotation
An apparatus for attaching and detaching hard objects allowing for rotation wherein protrusions built in or attached to one object are forced into cavity sockets built in or attached to another by causing force resulting in momentary bending of protrusions or the cavities. The sequential bending causes curvilinear motion allowing protrusions to enter otherwise inaccessible cavity sockets. Once in, the components of the joining mechanism revert to natural position and an equilibrium is reached which keeps the objects attached, yet free to move around an axis. This equilibrium can only be disturbed by causing force at specific points on the mechanism and pulling the objects apart in a curvilinear motion, thereby detaching the objects in one continuous motion with little effort. Momentary bending necessary to operate the apparatus is made possible by empty space in the casing housing the mechanism. Permitted angles of rotation are controllable and attached objects can be locked in a position.
Housing for an electrical device
The present disclosure provides a hinge, such as for housings for devices, such as a split-core current transformer. The housings can include hinges and housing parts to be rotatably coupled together at such hinges that can be injection molded. A hinge of a housing can include a first knuckle and a second knuckle, which can be integrally formed with or coupled to a first housing part and each are configured to receive an end of a hinge pin. One of the knuckles includes a knuckle slot to provide radial access for a cut-away portion of a hinge pin to pass through. At assembly of the first housing part to a second housing part, a first hinge pin end is to be disposed within an opening of the first knuckle and a second hinge pin end is to be disposed within the second knuckle after passage of the key portion through the knuckle slot of the second knuckle.
Appliance door hinge assembly
An appliance includes a door with a plurality of panels spaced apart by a vertical support. A lower hinge mount is coupled with an appliance body. A first pivot member is coupled with the lower hinge mount and includes a first protrusion. A lower hinge support is fixedly coupled with the vertical support and includes an elongate coupling plate and a hinge arm that extends orthogonal relative to a longitudinal extent of the elongate coupling plate. A stop extends from the hinge arm. A second pivot member has a receiving space that receives the stop. The second pivot member includes a second protrusion that is in abutting contact with the first protrusion. A lower hinge pin extends through the lower hinge support and the second pivot member. The lower hinge pin is vertically translated when the second pivot member moves from a first position to a second position.
