Clutch assembly for powered door system
A power actuation system for a motor vehicle closure panel includes a motor configured to rotate an input gear member that is configured to rotate an output gear member. The output gear member being coupled with a lever that is coupled to the closure panel. A clutch assembly configured for movement between a lever driving position whereat the lever is caused to pivot in response to rotation of the input gear member and a lever releasing position whereat the lever can pivot independent of the input gear member. The clutch assembly being biased into the lever driving position and having at least one roller configured to move out of a detent of the clutch assembly to move the clutch assembly from the lever driving position to the lever releasing position in response to a force applied to the closure panel.
Door with hidden door closer
The present disclosure describes various embodiments of a concealed or hidden door closer that is installed in a drip cap of a door assembly. In some embodiments, the door frame and door closer components are configured to allow the door assembly to be readily installed as either a left or a right hand hinged door.
Casement sliding operator
A casement window operator includes a linear input mechanism configured to be mounted to a stationary frame of a casement window, a linear to rotary motion converter operably coupled to an output of the linear input mechanism, a gear reducer operably coupled to an output of the rotary motion converter, and a sash arm operably coupled to an output of the gear reducer to rotate in conjunction with the output of the gear reducer. The sash arm is configured to extend from the stationary frame of the casement window to a rotatable window sash of the casement window.
SLIDE OPERATOR ASSEMBLIES AND COMPONENTS FOR FENESTRATION UNITS
Slide operator assemblies and components for fenestration units, as well as associated methods of manufacture and use thereof.
Power door with toothed rod crank mechanism
A power swing door actuator configured for use in a power door actuation system in a motor vehicle having a vehicle door pivotably connected to a vehicle body for movement along a swing path between open and closed positions is provided. The power swing door actuator includes a power-operated drive mechanism connected to the vehicle door with a rotary driven member configured for rotation in response to selective actuation of the power-operated drive mechanism. An elongate rack pivotably connected to the vehicle body and the rotary driven member is maintained in engagement with the rack via a retention member. Rotational movement of the rotary driven member in a first direction causes the vehicle door to move in an opening direction, while rotational movement of the rotary driven member in a second direction causes the vehicle door to move in a closing direction.
Door with hidden door closer
The present disclosure describes various embodiments of a concealed or hidden door closer that is installed in a drip cap of a door assembly. In some embodiments, the door frame and door closer components are configured to allow the door assembly to be readily installed as either a left or a right hand hinged door.
Integrated casement window operator and lock with anti-backdrive feature
An integrated casement window operator and lock, including a gear mechanism and an arm assembly, the arm defining a rack portion and an adjacent arcuate gear portion, the arm mounted to the housing with a pinion gear engaged with the rack portion and the arcuate gear portion, the pinion gear defining a star-shaped aperture therethrough and a handle with a square-shaped shaft portion received in the star-shaped aperture of the gear. The handle is selectively rotatable to shift the arm between a window fully closed position and a window fully open position, wherein an anti-backdrive mechanism is provided to inhibit backdriving of the arm in both the window fully closed window fully open positions.
Power side door actuator with rotating drive nut
A power door actuation system including a swing door actuator assembly having a rotatable drive nut assembly operable to move the door between a closed position and at least one open position to provide a power opening and closing function.
Door closer
A door closer having a closer body 1 housing an electrical actuator 20 connected to one or more electrical connectors, such as plugs 24, each of which may be located in two or more different positions on the closer body to facilitate connection of the closer to an electrical circuit when the closer is mounted in different orientations, without providing a greater number of electrical connectors. The closer body may have a rotary shaft 7 connected to a door control arm 9, a first latch member 6 mounted relative to the closer body and a second latch member 29 mounted relative to the rotary shaft, the second latch member being arranged to engage with the first latch member to arrest rotation of the rotary shaft to latch the rotary shaft in a desired position. A mounting structure 8 connects the control arm and enables the angle between the control arm and the second latch member to be varied between 0 and at least 90 degrees.
