Overhead door system with concealed hydraulic cylinder
An overhead door system including a frame, a door leaf and a first hydraulic cylinder. The door leaf is pivotally mounted to the frame. The first hydraulic cylinder has a first cylinder end and a second cylinder end. The first cylinder end is operably attached to the frame. The second cylinder end is operably attached to the door leaf. The first hydraulic cylinder is capable of moving the door leaf between a closed configuration and an open configuration. At least one of the frame and the upper door panel has a slot formed therein. When the door leaf is in the closed configuration, the first hydraulic cylinder is substantially recessed in the slot.

Apparatus for controlling bus doors
An apparatus for controlling bus doors (14, 16) that are arranged as a pair of doors that move in coordinated relation between door open positions and door closed positions, enables passengers to access an interior area (12) of a bus (10). The apparatus includes an actuator (28, 226). The actuator includes a drive lever (34, 228) that is selectively rotationally movable between rotational positions in which both of the doors are in the open positions and in the closed positions. Exemplary arrangements include at least one controller (128) that is operative to prevent the doors from causing damage to or from being damaged by engagement with obstructions. The controller further enables a bus driver or other authorized user to control access to the interior area of the bus using a user mobile device (144).
Household appliance
A household appliance includes a housing, a door pivotably connected to the housing, a cable connected to the door, a roller in contact with the cable, and a motor configured to drive the roller to move the cable such as to effect a pivoting movement of the door.

BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT SAFE
The present disclosure generally relates to a lockable device, and more particular to a biometric fingerprint safe having a top opening wall which is released to upwardly fold at its opened position after verifying a fingerprint of a user. The biometric fingerprint safe includes a supporting mechanism provided between the housing and the lid for applying an upward force against the lid, a fingerprint module, a bolt matched with a latching mechanism installed in the housing, the latching mechanism has a motor electrically connected to the fingerprint module, a driving locking plate driven by an eccentric rod connected with the motor, a driven locking plate which is arranged side by side with the driving locking plate and synchronously actuated by the driving locking plate to rotate, so that the driven locking plate being matched with the bolt for locking or releasing the lid.

Centering apparatus for hopper car doors
A centering apparatus for bi-directionally pivotable hopper doors. The apparatus is coupled between a frame of a hopper car and a bell crank of a hopper door. The apparatus includes a housing with a piston extending from one end. An end of the piston within the housing includes a piston head. A pair of coil springs are disposed within the housing on opposite sides of the piston head and counteract one another to bias the piston head toward the center of the housing and thus bias the hopper door toward a closed state. In a second configuration the apparatus includes a double-acting actuator with a pair of independent piston assemblies. An actuation system coupled to the actuator maintains the actuator and an associated hopper door in a closed position in a normal state and returns the hopper door to the closed position upon a failure in the system.

SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY CLOSING A TRUNK LID OF A VEHICLE
A system for automatically closing a trunk lid of a vehicle. The system comprises a trunk sensor system configured for detecting items in a luggage trunk, a trunk lid actuator for automatic closing of the trunk lid, and a control unit connected to the trunk sensor system and to the trunk lid actuator. The control unit is arranged for statistically determining, based on a set of observations of a trunk interior space by means of the trunk sensor system in connection with termination of a set of vehicle travels, one or more items or combination of items that are frequently remaining in the luggage trunk after completed travel, while preferably taking into account the one or more items stored in the luggage trunk during the travel, detecting opening of the trunk lid, detecting current items in the luggage trunk by means of the trunk sensor system, and controlling the trunk lid actuator for automatic closing of the trunk lid when the current items correspond to said one or more items or combination of items that are frequently remaining in the luggage trunk after a journey. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding computer-implemented method for automatically closing a trunk lid of a vehicle luggage trunk.
