DAMPING APPARATUS
A damping apparatus for glove compartments, includes the following: an elastic element designed so as to be stretched by a relative movement of two components that are movable in relation to one another, whereby a damping effect of the relative movement of the components is produced; a stopping apparatus designed so as to contact the elastic element during the relative movement of the two movable components and to deform such that, from the start of the contact, there results a change in the damping effect caused by the elastic element.
Fixed bin hinge system
A hinge assembly for an aircraft overhead storage bin that includes a housing having a hinge space and a hinge opening defined therein, an arm pivotably connected to the housing within the hinge space, and a dampener. The hinge opening communicates the hinge space with an exterior of the housing. The arm is pivotable between a closed position and an open position and extends through the hinge opening such that the first end of the arm is positioned outside of the housing. The dampener includes first and second ends. The first end is connected to the housing and the second end is connected to the arm. The dampener biases the arm from the closed position to the open position.
DOOR STOPPER AND HOLDER DEVICE
A door stopper and holder device for a door and having a distal part for anchoring to a structure adjacent the door when in a door open position, and a proximal part movably mounting onto the distal part. The proximal part is movable between an operating configuration, in either stopper mode or holder mode with the proximal part either being in abutment with the door or capturing the door therewith in the door open position, respectively, and a switching configuration in which the proximal part allows the door to be moved relative to the device which switches between the stopper and holder modes of the operating configuration. A device axis is generally perpendicular to a door plane when the door is in the door open position.

HINGED DOOR FIXING APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING HINGED DOOR FROM BEING AUTOMATICALLY CLOSED
A hinged door fixing apparatus comprises a fixed part and a holder part. The fixed part is fixed on a wall such that, in order to prevent the doorknob or edge portion of a hinged door from bumping directly against the wall in the process of opening the hinged door, a buffer member having a buffer ball coupled to the end thereof, which is mounted to the hinged door, comes into contact with the fixed part in the opening process. The holder part is installed in the fixed part and instantaneously holds the buffer ball through elasticity when the buffer member bumps against the fixed part.
BRAKING MECHANISM FOR A MOVABLE ARM OF A MOVABLE DOOR WING AND CORRESPONDING DOOR
The invention relates to a braking mechanism (10) for a movable door wing (1) with an electric motor (14) operating as a generator, the at least one drive shaft of which can be rotated by a movement of the door wing (1), and at the terminals thereof, a movement-dependent output voltage is produced, which is applied to an evaluation and control unit (20), and a stop spring (12) which damps a manual opening movement of the door wing (1) between a predetermined opening angle and a maximum opening angle with a constant first damping, and a corresponding door with a braking mechanism of this type. In accordance with to the invention, the evaluation and control unit (20) performs a pulse width modulation (PWM) of the motor current cooperating with the output voltage and establishes an effective sequence of braking force, which generates a variable second damping of the opening movement of the door wing (1), so that the door wing (1), when released, stops upon reaching the maximum opening angle.
Movement Control Device
A movement control device comprising a housing with an elongate push rod mounted therein for reciprocal movement along a longitudinal axis between first and second positions, wherein the push rod extends out of said housing in both the first and second positions. A spring comprising a primary axis operable to provide a biasing force on the push rod is further provided in the housing. A damping device comprising a primary axis is located in the housing, wherein the damping device is in continuous engagement with the push rod through its reciprocating movement. The primary axis of the spring and the primary axis of the damping device are not coaxial.
DOOR STOP AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A door stop comprises an elongate threaded member having a flat head section, such as a flat head bolt or elevator bolt, and a mounting panel carried on the threaded member. A cushioning member made of felt or other soft non-abrasive material can be positioned on the head section. A locking nut can be threaded on the threaded member, with the mounting panel between the locking nut and the head section. An alternative door stop comprises a spring-loaded member, and an elongate rod telescopically positioned within the spring-loaded member and adapted for sliding movement therein. A mounting panel can be formed on the spring-loaded member. A head section can be positioned on one end of the rod, and a cushioning member, made of felt or other soft, non-abrasive material can be attached to the outer surface of the head section.
Device for slowing and blocking one vehicle element relative to another
A blocking device that includes a blocking pin movable on the first element between an unblocked position and a blocked position, and an actuating element secured to the second element and arranged to move the blocking pin. The blocking pin is fastened to the first element by a stressing element arranged to exert a force stressing the blocking pin toward its unblocked position between the unblocked position and an intermediate position of the blocking pin, and to exert a force stressing the blocking pin toward its blocked position between the intermediate position and the blocked position of the blocking pin.
