BRAKE FOR VEHICLE CLOSURE ACTUATOR
A power closure actuator for powering a movable closure includes a shaft situated between an electric motor and an output member. A brake device along the shaft is actuable via an electric brake actuator to apply braking. An active brake clamp is movable by the electric brake actuator. An axially floating rotor is rotatable with the shaft and has a first axial side facing the active brake clamp a second axial side providing a second braking surface. A passive backing brake clamp is positioned adjacent the second braking surface. The axially floating rotor is biased away from the passive backing brake clamp by a first biasing member. Deflection of the first biasing member coupled with axial movement of the active brake clamp and the axially floating rotor enables braking by pinching action of the axially floating rotor between the active brake clamp and the passive backing brake clamp.

There is provided an automatic locking device for mounting to a wall-bed having a frame portion anchored to a wall and resting on a floor and having a pivotable mattress support portion adapted to be pivoted to upright storage position and to a deployed horizontal position as a sleeping surface. The automatic locking mechanism being mounted to the bed frame portion anchored to a wall and being automatically actuated by any sudden forward tipping movement of the frame portion should it become dislodged from the wall while the mattress support portion is in its deployed horizontal position. Also provided is a wall bed and kit comprising the automatic locking device of the present invention.

The present invention relates to a symmetrical and reversible-clutch mortise lock comprising a central follower, a pair of symmetrical lateral followers, each one located on one side of the central follower to be activated by square bars of handles, a spacer which makes the movement of the two lateral followers independent and a motor, which connects to an actuation lever and which is activated when an access code is validated. The lock further comprises a clutch housed and guided in an accumulator arm able to move linearly to be housed in both lateral followers such that the corresponding lateral follower, when activated by the motion of the door handle, pushes the clutch until it makes contact with the central follower and activates the latch of the lock.

An electromagnetic clutch includes: a rotation shaft that transmits a drive torque; a first rotation body that rotates integrally with the rotation shaft by being supported on the rotation shaft in a non-relatively rotatable manner; a second rotation body that is supported on the rotation shaft in a relatively rotatable manner in a position facing the first rotation body in an axial direction; an electromagnet that brings the first and second rotation bodies into pressure contact to connect the first and second rotation bodies in a manner capable of transmitting a torque by moving one of the first and second rotation bodies as an armature in an axial direction based on an electromagnetic attraction force generated by energization; and a gear portion that is provided on an outer periphery of at least one of the first rotation body or the second rotation body.

The disclosure relates to a drive assembly of a closure element assembly of a motor vehicle, wherein the drive assembly comprises a drive motor and, connected to the drive motor, a feed gearing for generating linear drive movements along a geometrical drive axis, wherein the drive motor and the feed gearing are arranged in a drive train of the drive assembly and the drive train extends between two mechanical drive connections for putting out drive movements and wherein the drive assembly comprises a brake for braking at least a portion of the drive train. It is proposed that the brake is designed such that the braking action of the brake is reduced with an increasing load in the drive train.
