SMARTLOCK SYSTEM FOR IMPROVED FIRE SAFETY
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage mediums, for a smartlock device that can be integrated in a door at a property. The smartlock device includes a locking mechanism configured to lock the door and to unlock the door. The device includes a radio device and a sensor that determines a first temperature of the smartlock device and a second temperature of a room that is accessible via the door. The radio device is operable to: i) receive parameter signals from the sensor indicating each of the first and second temperatures; ii) transmit data that includes the first and second temperatures to a monitoring system; and iii) receive a command to cause the locking mechanism to unlock the door based on information from the monitoring system. The information includes a determined routing of occupants at the property and is presented on a display of the device.
METHODA AND APPARATUS FOR TRAILER MONITORING
A trailer door system that comprises at least one trailer door assembly operably engaged with the trailer; and at least one driving assembly operably engaged with the trailer and the at least one trailer door assembly. The at least one driving assembly further comprises an expansion assembly operably engaged with the at least one trailer door assembly. The at least one driving assembly further comprises a rotary actuator operably engaged with the expansion assembly, wherein the rotary actuator is configured to transition the expansion assembly between a collapsed position and an expanded position for pivoting the at least one trailer door assembly between a closed position and an opened position about an axis parallel to a vertical axis defined by the trailer. A trailer monitoring system may be included with the trailer door system for automating the state of the trailer during a towing operation.
Vehicle
An embodiment vehicle includes an emergency light, a plurality of detectors, a communication device, and a processor configured to determine whether the vehicle is in a normal state based on detection information of the plurality of detectors when the emergency light is in a turned-on state, determine a turning-on cause of the emergency light based on current location information received by the communication device when it is determined that the vehicle is in the normal state, and control the communication device to transmit guide information corresponding to the determined turning-on cause of the emergency light to an external device.
VEHICLE DOOR OPENING APPARATUS
A vehicle door opening apparatus including a door that is electrically openable, an operator operating button and a passenger operating button for a door opening operation, and a BSM for detecting whether a moving object is approaching, in which in a case where the BSM detects that a moving object is approaching, when an opening operation is performed with the operator operating button or the passenger operating button, opening the door is not allowed, and when an emergency opening operation is performed with the operator operating button, opening the door is allowed.
Movable barrier disengagement detection
Systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting movable barrier disengagement are provided. A movable barrier operator system includes a motor configured to be coupled to a movable barrier and move the movable barrier, a motor sensor configured to measure a load value of the motor, communication circuitry configured to receive, from a remote control, a state change request to cause movement of the movable barrier, and a processor circuit. The processor circuit is configured to cause actuation of the motor in response to receipt of the state change request, detect, based on the load value, a disengagement between the motor and the movable barrier, and cause a communication to be sent, in response to detecting the disengagement, to a remote server, the communication indicative of motor disengagement.
Carbon monoxide detection assembly
A carbon monoxide detection assembly includes a detection unit that may be positioned in an enclosed area. The detection unit includes a carbon monoxide sensor to detect carbon monoxide in the enclosed area. A remote unit is in electrical communication with a garage door opener and the detection unit. The remote unit turns the garage door opener on when the carbon monoxide sensor detects carbon monoxide. A valve is fluidly coupled to a fuel source for a gas appliance and the valve is in electrical communication with the detection unit. The valve restricts the fuel from flowing to the gas appliance when the detection unit detects carbon monoxide. A communication unit is in electrical communication with an emergency responder and the detection unit. The communication unit alerts the emergency responder that carbon monoxide has been detected in the enclosed area.
INTELLIGENT SENSING EDGE AND CONTROL SYSTEM
A sensing edge is made in segments that can be used to determine at which point along the edge an obstruction occurred. Data collected can be used to determine a point in a process that the fault occurred by addressing each segment individually or as a whole. A programmable controller can be operatively coupled to the sensing edge, and can include logic to control the door and/or other equipment using data collected from the sensing edge.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING POWER TAIL GATE OF VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THEREOF
A controlling method of a vehicle includes: detecting a location of a user around the vehicle in response to receiving opening closing signals for opening and closing a power tail gate of the vehicle, respectively; and controlling opening and closing speeds of the power tail gate according to a distance between the vehicle and the user when opening and closing the power tail gate, respectively, in response to receiving the respective opening and closing signals of the power tail gate.
CONTROL APPARATUS
A control apparatus includes: a submersion signal acquisition unit that acquires a submersion signal representing a situation of submersion switch; a power supply unit that supplies power to a drive unit that drives an opening and closing unit such that the opening and closing unit is opened and closed using the supplied power; an operation detection unit that detects an operation instructing the drive unit to perform driving such that the opening and closing unit is opened; and a control unit that controls the supplying of power to the power supply unit performed by the power supply unit on a basis of the submersion signal and the operation.
Control apparatus controlling opening and closing member for vehicle
A control apparatus controlling an opening and closing member for a vehicle includes a drive control unit operating an opening and closing member of the vehicle by a motor serving as a drive source, and a catch detection unit detecting a catch of a foreign object caught by the opening and closing member in response to a current value of the motor. The drive control unit includes a motor control signal output unit outputting a motor control signal for supplying a drive power to the motor, and an advance-angle value setting unit setting an advance-angle value for advancing a phase of the motor control signal. The advance-angle value setting unit includes an advance-angle value increase prohibition unit prohibiting increase setting of the advance-angle value in a case where the current value of the motor reaches an advance-angle value increase prohibition current value.
