Touchless Frunk Release and Directional Frunk Sensor Array System
The present disclosure provides a smart automated latch mechanism for opening a front trunk of a vehicle and a smart sensor array for detecting when the front trunk of the vehicle is at capacity. The system operates by having an electronic latch mechanism for the front trunk coupled with an infra-red sensor at the interface between the lid and the vehicle bonnet. When a change in temperature is detected in this space by the sensor, an electric motor causes the front trunk to open, removing the need for the user to actually touch the vehicle to open the front trunk. This system combines with a directional sensor array arranged inside the trunk which detects when an object is placed in front of it. The sensor array is arranged at a capacity height of the trunk, and thus allows for automated detection of when an object is in an inappropriate position, preventing damage to the vehicle from closing the front trunk lid on the object.
Automated light-sensitive configurable animal door
An animal door unit comprising a front panel, a left rear panel, a left guide, a right rear panel, and a right guide, wherein the front panel comprises an entrance; and a door plate having a plurality of guide holes, the door plate configurable in a retracted state and an open state, wherein, in the retracted state, the door plate traverses the entrance, and wherein, in the open state, the door plate does not traverse the entrance. The animal door unit may include a motor disposed within a module case; and a sprocket in rotational communication with the motor, wherein the sprocket interfaces with the plurality of guide holes, such rotational movement of the sprocket inducing linear movement in the door plate.
SAFETY SWITCH, AND SWITCH SYSTEM
A safety switch includes a detection unit, an output unit, an input unit; and a display unit. The detection unit is configured to detect presence or absence of abnormality. The output unit is configured to output an abnormality detection signal indicating a detection result of the presence or absence of the abnormality. The input unit is configured to input a display control signal. The display unit is configured to perform display based on the display control signal.
Vehicle door opening/closing device
A vehicle door opening/closing device including a drive mechanism for driving the opening/closing of a door of a vehicle; a first detector and second detector for detecting the distance to an item to be detected which is positioned in a first detection range outside the vehicle or a second detection range which is closer than the first detection range; and a controller for controlling the drive mechanism, based on the detection results of the detectors. The controller prepares for the opening/closing of the door by the drive mechanism, by having the first and second detectors detect that an item to be detected has moved from the start area which is an area that overlaps the first detection range, to a trigger area which is an area that overlaps the second detection range, in the range of operation at a predetermined interval in the width direction of the vehicle.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A LIFTGATE OPENING SYSTEM OF A REAR LIFTGATE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A sensor assembly for a liftgate opening system for a rear liftgate of a motor vehicle is provided. The rear liftgate includes a door frame, a stationary window, a lock device, and an actuator for moving the lock device between locked and unlocked states. The sensor assembly includes a housing attached to the stationary window and a substrate disposed within the housing. The sensor assembly further includes a capacitive touch sensor engaging a target portion of the stationary window and configured to generate a touch signal, in response to a user touching the target portion of the stationary window. The sensor assembly further includes a proximity sensor generating a proximity signal, in response to the user being disposed within a predetermined distance of the proximity sensor.
HINGE AND TANK OR LOADING FLAP SYSTEM
A hinge for opening and closing a tank or charging flap has two lever arms which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. A first lever arm is designed for connection to a tank or charging flap and a second lever arm is designed for connection to a component fastened to a vehicle. A drive is provided in order to pivot the two lever arms relative to one another about a pivot axis. The drive is an actuator that is received on or in one of the lever arms.
TOUCHLESS CONTROL SYSTEM
A control system includes a sensor system that may detect entry of a person into a detection curtain in front of a door, and a controller that may receive a first signal from the sensor system indicating the entry of the person into the detection curtain. The controller may determine a state of the door and generate a second signal responsive to receiving the first signal and while the state of the door indicates that the door can be opened. The control system also may include one or more actuators that may be coupled with the door and to open the door without the person touching the door responsive to receiving the second signal from the controller.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY MANAGEMENT IN ROLL-UP DOORS
A safety curtain and system includes multiple light emitters and multiple light receivers to detect traffic approaching a doorway. The safety curtain may include pairs of multiple light emitters and receivers positioned on both sides of a passageway (doorway) so as to detect approaching traffic. The multiple light emitters and light receivers may detect a height of an approaching traffic (e.g., person or vehicle) and initiate warning lights of a possible door closing. The detected approach of traffic may cause the door to be stopped, reversed or slow down. The system may include a computer to monitor the signals from the receivers and may control the motion of the door.
Slider window assembly with switch device
A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame having upper and lower rails. A fixed window has an opening and the rails are attached at the fixed window. A movable window is movable between a closed position and an opened position. A carrier disposed at a lower edge of the movable window moves with the movable window between the opened and closed positions. A sensing system determines when the movable window is in the closed position and includes a switch assembly that is actuated when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch assembly includes a switch device within a housing. A portion of the housing is an end stop configured to limit movement of the carrier when the movable window is in the closed position. The switch device includes a contact and, when the movable window is in the closed position, the contact actuates the switch device.
Passenger Communication Lighting
A passenger communication lighting display on or adjacent a touch bar on a passenger door of a transit vehicle comprises a display that can be controlled to display multiple colors continuous or blinking, and a control means causing the display to be dark when the door is closed, the display to be a first color when the operator has authorized opening, the display to flash a second color when the passenger has requested the door be opened, the display to be blinking the second color when the door is opening, the display to be continuously the second color when the door is resting in the open position, and the display to be blinking a third color while the door is closing.
