A power latch and presenter assembly for latching and releasing a closure panel and for moving the closure panel from a closed position to a presented position includes a ratchet moveable between a striker capture position and a striker release position. A pawl is configured for movement between a ratchet holding position, whereat the pawl maintains the ratchet in the striker capture position and a ratchet releasing position. A power release actuator is configured to move the pawl from the ratchet holding position to the ratchet releasing position and to move a presenter arm between a non-deployed position, whereat the presenter arm is spaced from the striker, to a deployed position, whereat the presenter arm engages the striker to move the closure panel from the closed position to the presented position. A power presenter actuator is configured to move the presenter arm from the non-deployed position to the deployed position.

Door operator systems include the use of an adaptor. The adaptor may be utilized to operatively couple separate door operator assemblies together in a double door operator system. The adaptor includes control components (e.g., switches, buttons, toggles, or levers) that are used to turn the door operator system on and off. While the adaptor may be used to operatively couple two separate door operator assemblies together to form a double door operator system, the adaptor may also be used within a single door operator system. Furthermore, with respect to double door operator systems, the system may also utilize a back plate assembly formed from two or more separate back plates (e.g., two or more back plate portions).

A modular garage door opener system and method including a garage door opener having a motor that is configured to be coupled to a garage door to open and close the garage door. The garage door opener includes a first accessory port including a first accessory mounting interface and a second accessory port disposed on the garage door opener including a second accessory mounting interface. An accessory device including a first mounting interface engages the first accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the first accessory port. The accessory device may be disengaged from the first accessory mounting interface and then engage the second accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the second accessory port. Additionally, a second accessory device may engage the first accessory port after disengagement of the accessory device.

The female leaf has spaced apart first and second end barrels coaxially rotating with respect to a central barrel of the male leaf therebetween. An axial shaft is fixed to the second end barrel of the female leaf at a proximal end of the axial shaft. The axial shaft has a distal helicoidally threaded spindle. A compression gear having a helicoidally threaded bore matching the helicoidal thread of the spindle displaces towards the first end barrel when the leaves move into alignment and towards the second end barrel when the leaves move out of alignment. The dampened hinge assembly may be reconfigured to provide soft closure, end-of-range soft closure and/or backcheck damping.
