Disclosed herein is a continuous hinge. The continuous hinge comprises a first hinge portion comprising a first plurality of knuckles; and a second hinge portion opposing the first hinge portion and comprising a second plurality of knuckles. The second plurality of knuckles is interdigitated with the first plurality of knuckles and pivotally coupled to the first plurality of knuckles. Each knuckle is a separate piece.

PROTECTOR WITH SENSOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A first end of an insert fills up a space of a hollow part of a protector, and a second end includes an insulator to insulate a first wire connection part where a first leg of a resistor is piled on a first core wire from a second wire connection part where a second leg of the resistor is piled on a second core wire. Die-molding material covers the insulator, the first and second core wires, the resistor, the first and second legs, and the first and second wire connection parts. The insulator has a tabular shape, and the insulator has left and right side ends exposed from a part covered with the die-molding material. The insert includes a second protrusion on a connection part between the first and second ends of the insert. The second protrusion is closer to an inner side part than an inner surface of the insulator.

A method configured to produce a pressure-sensitive sensor composed of a cylindrical-shape body including therein a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction of that sensor, and being made of an elastic electrical insulating member, and a plurality of electrode wires arranged helically along an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical-shape body and arranged in such a manner as to have no contact with each other. The method includes, with an extruder with a head, extrusion-molding the cylindrical-shape body while running the plurality of electrode wires into that head in such a manner that a periphery of the plurality of electrode wires is coated with the cylindrical-shape body, and taking up the cylindrical-shape body and the plurality of electrode wires ejected from the extruder while rotating the cylindrical-shape body and the plurality of electrode wires in a circumferential direction of the sensor, to thereby helically arrange the plurality of electrode wires.

TOP-HANGING SLIDING DOOR INCLUDING WEDGE DESIGN TOP SEAL

Systems and methods for providing a door seal system for top-hanging sliding doors. In some implementations, two angled mating surfaces are used, one angled surface on a fixed frame and one reversed angled surface on the slideable door panel. The slideable door panel slides directly parallel to the fixed door frame. A mating seal surface is created that is only in frictional contact for a small portion of the linear slide distance of the door panel. In some implementations, rather than placing two opposing angled seal surfaces, the sealing system has one angled surface on the fixed door frame. In such implementations, the sliding door panel is adjusted to be in a reverse angled orientation relative to the angled surface of the fixed door frame. Seal designs for the rear vertical edge of the slideable door panel are also provided herein.

Switching profile

The invention relates to a switching profile (1) with a switching head (4) and a first side wing (2) and a second side wing (3), wherein a concave profile (12) and a convex profile (13) are arranged in a manner oriented towards one another in an interior (29) of the switching head (4), wherein the switching head (4) consists of a base (28), a first side wing (21) and a second side wing (22), wherein the first side wing (21) projects away from the base (28) at one end and merges into a crown (19) at the other end, wherein the second side wing (22) projects away from the base (28) at one end and likewise merges into the crown (19) at the other end.

Coupling structure of touch sensor

A part of a touch sensor which couples to a curve of a flange includes an oblique wall and a seal lip. The curve is on a belt line of a sliding door. The oblique wall and the seal lip are close to an interior of an automobile and fit a shape of the curve. A closure wall extends toward an exterior of the automobile and forms a continuous surface with the oblique wall. The closure wall covers a large space from a front side of the automobile.

Device for protection against entrapment for a door for a vehicle, door system for a vehicle and method for producing a device for protection against entrapment for a door for a vehicle

A device for protection against entrapment for a door for a vehicle includes an extruded profile extruded from an elastomer material, wherein the extruded profile includes a door leaf wall, which faces a contact edge of a door leaf of a door when the device is mounted on the door, a sealing wall arranged in an opposing position relative to the door leaf wall and a plunger for transferring a compression force into the extruded profile. The plunger is mounted on the sealing wall and extends along a transverse axis of the extruded profile away from the door leaf wall. The device also includes at least one switching element for detecting a compression of the extruded profile, wherein the at least one switching element is arranged in the region of the plunger between the door leaf wall and the plunger.

Safety contact strip

A safety contact strip for a closing edge includes an inner shell facing the closing edge and being formed by a coextrudate of a first electrically insulating plastic. An outer shell spaced apart from the inner shell is formed by a coextrudate of a second electrically insulating plastic. Switching chambers respectively retained by at least one web between the inner and outer shells are formed with the outer shell. Two switching layers spaced apart from one another are formed in each switching chamber by a coextrudate of a third electrically conductive plastic. An electrical conductor is embedded in each of the switching layers as a further coextrudate.
