A door module for use with a door system, and applications thereof, are disclosed. The door module comprises a door frame and a door articulated to the door frame, a touchless door module comprising a door motor assembly, a door locking assembly, a control assembly and a power source. The door motor assembly can be configured for displacing the door between an open position and a closed position, responsive to a door opening signal or a door closing signal, respectively, emitted from the control assembly. The locking assembly can be configured for displacing a locking bolt between a locked position at which it is engageable with a locking strike, responsive to a locking signal emitted from the control assembly, and an unlocked position, responsive to an unlocking signal emitted from the control assembly. The control assembly comprises in some embodiments at least one touchless inside sensor, wherein an entrance signal includes a signal received form the at least one inside touchless sensor, resulting in generating a door closing signal and an occupied signal, and an exit signal received by the at least one inside sensor resulting in generating a door opening signal. The control assembly may further comprise a signaling system configured for emitting noticeable door mode indicia responsive to door parameters.

Bifold door with spherical bearing and pin

A bifold door includes a first hinge and a second hinge configured to rotatably couple the bifold door to a doorframe. The bifold door includes a slider configured to slide within a track of the doorframe as the bifold door is opened and closed. At least one of the first hinge, the second hinge, and the slider includes a spherical bearing and a pin.

An example firearm receptacle includes a mounting structure, a firearm holder, and a door stopper. The mounting structure is configured to be fixably mounted to one of a wall or a door. The door stopper is configured to transition between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the example embodiment, the door stopper is configured to impede the opening of the door when the door stopper is in the deployed position and to allow the opening of the door when the door stopper is in the stowed position. The door stopper is additionally configured to prevent the door stopper from transitioning to the stowed position when a firearm is disposed in the firearm holder.

BI-FOLD DOOR
20230083772 · 2023-03-16 ·

The present disclosure is directed to a bi-fold door system, apparatus, or device including a first panel, a second panel, and a center post. When in a fully closed position, the bi-fold door limits access to a lavatory on an aircraft, and, alternatively, when in a fully opened position, the bi-fold door allows or provides access to the lavatory on the aircraft. When in the closed position, a user within the lavatory may lock the bi-fold door in the closed position by stepping on a foot pedal at an interior of the bi-fold door. The foot pedal mechanically cooperates with a lock rod and an escapement mechanism the user stepping on the foot pedal moves the lock rod from a retracted position to an extended position locking the bi-fold door in the closed position. To exit the lavatory, the user may unlock the bi-fold door utilizing the foot pedal and then interact with a hands-free actuation mechanism to move the bi-fold door from the closed position to the opened position. When in the opened position, the bi-fold door may be held open for a selected period of time such that the user may exit the lavatory without physically contacting the bi-fold door.

Door latch

A latch is provided for latching the doors of cubicles or stalls provided in public washrooms. The latch includes a body mounted within a cavity formed between the inner and outer door surfaces, the body rotatably mounting a spindle having a latching member mounted at one end. Biasing means in the form of one or more cam followers acting on a corresponding number of cam surfaces is provided between the body and the spindle to hold the spindle in a closed position but, once displaced from the closed position, to bias the spindle toward a fully open position.

Restroom Door Assembly

A door assembly for a restroom stall having first and second opposed side walls and a front opening includes first and second housings defining first and second inner cavities and configured to be mounted on the first and second side walls, first and second doors moveably mounted on the first and second housings, each having opposed inner and outer surfaces that are curved and being moveable along an arcing path between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the door is retracted within the respective housing and at least partially received in the respective inner cavity, and in the closed position, the door is extended outward of the respective housing relative to the open position. In the closed positions, the first and second doors combine to obstruct the front opening, and in the open positions, the first and second doors permit passage through the front opening.

SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM AND GUIDE THEREFOR

A sliding door system including a wall cavity between a first wall lining and a second wall lining, a door frame adjacent the wall cavity, a guide extending across the top of the door frame and the top of the cavity, and a door panel suspended from carrying means supported by the guide, the guide including a plate, and two wings extending from the plate to define a cavity between the wings and the plate, characterised in that the cavity is closer to a second end of the plate than it is to a first end of the plate and that the distance from the door panel to the first wall lining is greater than the distance from the door panel to the second wall lining.

SLIDING DOOR

A sliding door has a brake element for braking the door leaf, an adjustment device configured to switch the brake element over from a braking position, in which the door leaf is being braked, to a release position, in which the door leaf is not being braked, and from the release position to the braking position, and a motor drive unit which is configured to cooperate with the adjustment device and to allow the brake element to be adjusted.

LOCK MECHANISM

A lock mechanism includes a pedal, a vertical rod, a rod support, a hinge, a hinge support, a hinge lock, and magnets. When the pedal is pushed up the vertical rod, the hinge will lower into a cavity of the hinge lock and the lock mechanism will be in a “locked” mode. To “unlock” the lock mechanism, the user pushes the pedal down the vertical rod, then the hinge will raise out of the cavity of the hinge lock and now the lock mechanism will be in an “unlocked” mode. Then when the user wants to lock the lock mechanism while being inside a bathroom stall, the user will align a door with a wall/stand of the bathroom stall and then push the pedal up so the hinge will lower into the cavity of the hinge lock and the lock mechanism will be in a “locked” mode.

The present invention includes three off-set hinges adapted to utilize the weight of the door to cause the door to self position and allow manual operation of the door. A center hinge includes a top leaf, a center pin, and a bottom leaf. The center pin includes an upper pin-portion adapted to slidably insert into an inverted slot on a top socket of the top leaf and an oppositely disposed lower pin-portion adapted to slidably insert into an upright cylindrical slot of the bottom leaf. A gear is disposed intermediate to the upper pin-portion and lower pin-portion. The gear is fixed or otherwise coupled to the pin whereby rotation of the gear results in corresponding rotation of the pin including both the top portion and the bottom portion. The lower pin-portion further includes a beveled lower (distal) end. This bevel matches a corresponding bevel in the bottom leaf.
