HINGE PIN KEEPER AND ENCLOSURE WITH AMBIDEXTROUS LIFT OFF-HINGE
Disclosed is a hinge pin keeper having a hook on a first end of a shaft and a coil on a second end of the shaft. Also disclosed is an enclosure with an ambidextrous lift-off hinge, wherein said liftoff hinge connections between the door and the base permit the handedness of the door mounting to be changed without the use of tools by lifting said door in a first handedness configuration, rotating said door 180 degrees relative to said base, and mounting said door back on said hinges in a second handedness configuration, with said first handedness configuration being the opposite of said second handedness configuration.
Base bracket and an arrangement for mounting a dead front for an electrical panelboard
A hinged dead front for an enclosure of an electrical panelboard, said enclosure defined by a rear panel, an operative left side panel, an operative right side panel and a door, wherein the rear panel of said enclosure is provided with hinged mounting bracket assemblies on which said dead front is hingeably mounted; and latch stopping bracket assemblies configured to engage with locking elements fitted on said dead front.
Articulating hinge assembly for securing an access door on a gaming machine cabinet
A hinge assembly for securing a door on a gaming machine cabinet includes a first flange coupled to the door, a second flange coupled to the cabinet, a first link pair coupled to and extending from the first flange at a first pivot joint, a second link pair coupled to and extending from the first flange at a second pivot joint, a third link pair coupled to the first link pair at a third pivot joint, wherein the third link pair is further coupled to the second flange at a fourth pivot joint, and wherein the third link pair is further coupled to the second link pair at a fifth pivot joint, and a fourth link pair coupled to the second flange at a sixth pivot joint, wherein the fourth link pair is further coupled to the second link pair at a seventh pivot joint.
Telecommunications enclosure with a separate mountable hinge
The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications enclosures that can be customizable to include a hinge. That is, a separate hinge may be utilized as an add-on feature for telecommunications enclosures. The hinge can be attached to at least two different sides of an enclosure or may not be utilized at all. Such a configuration allows for flexibility of a variety of designs for a telecommunications enclosure. The hinge can be mountable to interfaces of first and second housing pieces of an enclosure. The hinge can have rotational features and/or translational features for pivoting first and second housing pieces of an enclosure between first and second positions.
Hinge arrangement for a switchgear cabinet housing, and corresponding switchgear cabinet housing
The invention relates to a hinge arrangement for a switchgear housing cabinet, having a first hinge half, which is fastened to a vertical side wall, delimiting a door opening, of a switchgear cabinet housing, and having a second hinge half, which is fastened to a door element, the hinge halves being connected to each other such that they can pivot relative to each other via a rotation axis, so that the door element closes the door opening when in a closed position and preferably completely exposes the door opening when in an open position, and the rotation axis being outside the outer periphery of both the door opening and the door element, wherein at least one of the hinge halves has a groove, via which the hinge half is fitted onto a protrusion on the outer periphery of the part of the switchgear cabinet housing and of the door element associated with the hinge half.
Door support system for an electrical distribution system enclosure
A door support system is provided for an enclosure of an electrical distribution system. The door support system includes a rail fixedly secured to a door panel of the enclosure. The rail includes at least one notch. The door support system also includes a support member mounted to a frame of the enclosure. The support member is slidably mounted to the rail such that the support member slides along a length of the rail between an extended position and a retracted position. The extended position of the support member supports the door panel in an open position. The support member is in the retracted position when the door panel is in a closed position. The support member includes a detent configured to be received into the notch of the rail to releasably lock the support member in the extended position along the length of the rail.
Work site storage lock system
A tool chest may include a base portion, two opposing sidewalls, a drawer portion and a lid. The sidewalls extend substantially parallel to each other on opposite sides of the base portion to define a tool repository between the sidewalls. The lid has a closed position covering a top of the tool chest, and an open position in which access is provided to the tool repository. The drawer portion is slidable to at least partially remove the drawer portion from the base portion. The drawer portion is automatically locked by closing the lid via a locking assembly that is operable configured to automatically unlock with the lid is open unless the locking assembly is retained in a locked position.
AMBIDEXTROUS HOLD OPEN HINGE
The present disclosure relates to an ambidextrous hinge. The ambidextrous hinge includes a first knuckle with a first engagement feature, a second knuckle with a second engagement feature, and a third knuckle movably coupled between the first knuckle and the second knuckle. The third knuckle includes a third engagement feature that engages the first engagement feature to cause the ambidextrous hinge to lock in a first open position when used as a first swing hinge. The third knuckle includes a fourth engagement feature that engages the second engagement feature to cause the ambidextrous hinge to lock in a second open position when used as a second swing hinge.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ONE OR MORE LATCH BRACKETS
A cabinet including a door, a fastener, and a latch bracket is provided. The fastener is extending at least partially through an aperture in the door. The latch bracket is located on an internal surface of a door frame to secure the door to the door frame. A retainer washer is disposed around the fastener and disposed between the latch bracket and the door in order to retain the fastener when in a disengaged position.
Closing device for an electrical enclosure, and a corresponding electrical enclosure
A locking device for a switch cabinet, with a lock door and a secondary door, wherein the secondary door, on a vertical outer edge opposite its hinge side, has a U-profile formed on a door leaf of the secondary door with a receptacle for a lock mechanism of the lock door, which receptacle is offset back relative to the door leaf and which is open towards the door leaf, wherein on an outer free profile side of the U-profile, a swivelling lever of a lock of the secondary door is pivotably mounted about an axis of rotation between an open position and a locking position. Furthermore, a corresponding switch cabinet is described.
