Apparatus for Covering a Door Frame and a Door Slab Perimeter
An apparatus for covering a door frame and a door slab perimeter. The apparatus includes a clip having a door frame shield and a door slab perimeter shield which extends from it. The clip has two connector sidewalls extending from the door frame shield towards a building interior. A clip receiver is located at one face of the door frame. The clip receiver is shaped to be complementary to the clip to permit a sealing engagement with it.
SECURITY FEATURES FOR A SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM
A sliding door system having one or more sliding doors, door frames (e.g., static frames of different sizes for different wall thicknesses or adjustable frames that can be used to fit different wall thicknesses), sliding door hardware (e.g., tracks, wheels, soft closers, stops, or the like), header, door receiver, a plurality of seals, or the like. The sliding door system utilizes improvements to the components in order to provide security features, such as electromagnetic (EMC—EMI/RFI) shielding, sound resistance, blast resistance, forced entry and/or ballistic resistance, privacy features, light reduction, fire and/or smoke resistance, or the like to the sliding door system. In particular, the sliding door system allows for the use of the security features with the static or adjustable door frames described herein.
Devices and methods for mounting door frames
The present invention relates to a door frame, particularly a door frame for a pre-hung door assembly, which is foldable to minimize storage space and to allow for enhanced logistic efficiencies. The door frame contains parallel, spaced apart, vertical jambs and a horizontal header connecting the top ends of the jambs. Each of the jambs and the horizontal header contains a front section and back section that are hingedly joined so that then can be folded on to each other. The hingedly joined front and back sections allow the door fame to be foldable to minimize space occupied during storage.
Roller assembly and screen end retention features for a hidden screen assembly and a fenestration assembly
A fenestration assembly includes a sash, a frame surrounding the sash, and at least one screen assembly. The sash includes at least one magnet. The sash is slideably engaged with the frame. The at least one screen assembly includes a roller assembly, a control bar, and screen material attached to the roller assembly and the control bar. The roller assembly is substantially hidden from view. The control bar includes a ferromagnetic material. The screen assembly is configured to apply tension to the screen material to wind the screen material around the roller assembly and to permit the screen material to unwind from the roller assembly under a tension applied to move the control bar away from the roller assembly. The control bar automatically engages the at least one magnet of the sash when the sash is in the closed configuration to attach the control bar to the sash.
Window
A window for use on a structure has a first frame, a second frame and a fascia. The structure has a wall having an interior surface, an exterior surface, and an opening extending through the wall from the interior surface to the exterior surface. The opening has an upper edge, a lower edge, a first side, and a second side. The first frame contacts the interior surface of the wall and extends through the opening. The second frame is positioned below the opening and contacts the interior surface of the wall. The fascia is connected to the first frame and contacts the exterior surface of the wall.
Shower Door Adjusting Device And Shower Door
The present invention provides a shower door adjusting device comprising a first side frame and a second side frame; a first fixing base assembly including a first fixing base and a second fixing base, wherein the first fixing base is fixed on the first side frame, the second fixing base is detachably fixed on the first fixing base, an installation groove is formed in the first and second fixing bases, and the first fixing base assembly is provided with a first through groove therein; a locking sheet whose end is provided with a boss, wherein the end of the locking sheet is installed in the installation groove, the locking sheet is provided with a first locking hole which faces the first through groove; a first connecting bar fixed to the second side frame and provided with a first rack passing through the first locking hole and the first through groove.
SCREEN EDGE RETENTION AND SCREEN RETHREADING FEATURES FOR A HIDDEN SCREEN ASSEMBLY AND A FENESTRATION ASSEMBLY
A fenestration assembly includes a sash, a frame surrounding the sash, and at least one screen assembly mounted in at least one of: the top portion and the bottom portion. The frame includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and two jambs forming first slots extending lengthwise along at least a portion of the jamb. The first slots each include a screen edge retention feature. The screen assembly includes a roller assembly substantially hidden from view, a screen material attached to the roller assembly, and a plurality of raised features. Edges of the screen material extend into the first slots. The raised features are attached to each of the edges of the screen material. The raised features are configured to engage the screen edge retention features and retain each of the edges of the screen material at least partially within the first slot of each of the two jambs.
Door jamb and sill assemblies
Door jamb and sill assemblies are provided. In one aspect, a door jamb weatherstripping assembly includes a weatherstrip member and a retaining member. The retaining member is elongated and is affixed along a length of the door jamb. The retaining member defines a retaining channel for retaining an anchor portion of the weatherstrip member, and a door seal being configured to sealingly contact the face of the door parallely to a weatherstrip portion of the weatherstrip member when the door is closed. According to another aspect, an elongated cap may be secured to the retaining member in a spaced-apart arrangement to jointly form a shielding chamber along an outer portion of the jamb. In another aspect, a door sill assembly having a U-shaped body engaging the bottom edge of the door is provided. The door sill assembly may include side channel seals and bottom channel seals.
BLENDED WOOD INTERIOR DOOR STOPS AND INTERIOR TRIM MOLDINGS
A blended wood interior trim molding assembly (e.g., a blended wood interior door stop assembly) can include a first layer of engineered wood material having a first, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness, and a second layer of wood material having a second, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness. The second layer of wood material is joined to the first layer of engineered wood material at a planar interface. Together, the first layer of engineered wood material and the second layer of wood material have a total thickness, with the second, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness being greater than or equal to at least about fifteen percent (15%) of the total thickness of the first layer of engineered wood material and the second layer of wood material.
