Apparatus for Covering a Door Frame and a Door Slab Perimeter
An apparatus for covering a door frame and a door slab perimeter. The apparatus includes a clip having a door frame shield and a door slab perimeter shield which extends from it. The clip has two connector sidewalls extending from the door frame shield towards a building interior. A clip receiver is located at one face of the door frame. The clip receiver is shaped to be complementary to the clip to permit a sealing engagement with it.
DOOR STILE WITH COMPOSITE EDGE BANDING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a door stile includes bonding a composite edge band to a first side of a core and profiling the composite edge band. The edge band includes a hollow that is defined through the composite edge band to flex when compressed into the first side of the core. Profiling the composite edge band includes removing portions of the composite edge band that define the hollows.
Board apparatus
A board apparatus is presented. The board apparatus includes an elongate body having an upper groove and a back portion lip, a removable elongate member configured for placement within the upper groove, and a screen. The screen includes a lower end configured to fit in the upper groove and below the back portion lip. The apparatus is useful for providing easy installation and removal of windows and screens.

BLENDED WOOD INTERIOR DOOR JAMB
A blended trim molding assembly can include a first layer of engineered wood material (e.g., medium-density fiberboard) having a first, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness, and a second layer of wood material (e.g., lumber, particle board, fiberboard) having a second, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness. The second layer of wood material is joined (e.g., glued) to the first layer of engineered wood material at a planar interface. Together, the first and second layers have a total thickness, with the first cross-sectional thickness being greater than or equal to at least about ten percent (10%) of the total thickness of the first and second layers. The blended trim molding assembly may also include a third layer of wood material having a third, generally rectangular cross-sectional thickness, where the third layer of wood material is joined to the first layer of engineered wood material at a second planar interface opposite the planar interface.

Microjamb window & door jamb system
The primary object of the MicroJamb Window & Door Jamb System is to provide an improved, yet, less costly jamb that, along with a system of interchangeable parts, simplifies the production and installation of windows and doors (so as to substantially reduce the time, materials and costs involved in both) and which, by design, makes windows and doors much more weather-tight. It accomplishes this by: reducing the width of the standard 4½-inch jamb by 1 inch (which immediately reduces material costs 22%) so as to fit between the drywall and sheathing of exterior walls; replacing wood molding with simulated molding of extruded plastic (reducing molding costs by over 50%); and by eliminating interior trim, when desired, altogether (reducing cost of interior trim 100%).

Entry door frame reinforcement assembly
A door frame profile and reinforcement assembly to increase the resistance of an entry door and door frame to forced entry by an intruder. Increased resistance is achieved by fitting and securing a U-shaped bar within a machined slot in the back of the door frame and attaching a shaped plate or plates that fits within the shaped bar and retains the door's throw bolt of the deadbolt and/or latch of the door lock. Optionally, with stronger door frames, the shaped plate alone may suffice, and the plate can be modified to a simple L-shaped form, a portion of which is inserted into a narrow groove which replaces the machined slot.
DOOR JAMB REPAIR KIT
A door jamb repair kit that includes: a sander; hinge plate covers; glue; filler; and a scraper to scrape the final finish in the doorjamb. The sander preferably includes a block sander.
