FRAMES FOR TURN & TILT OR PROJECTANT DOORS OR WINDOWS
The present invention consists of a frame for turn & tilt or projecting doors or windows, which achieves a minimalist exterior appearance with a central profile of 18 mm, wherein the offset of the alignment of the external glass with the internal glass is now used, creating a common central outer profile of 18 mm, and wherein the thermal and acoustic performance and the resistance to water, air and wind permeability are further improved. The frame, object of the present invention, is preferably made of aluminum with thermal break for the manufacture of doors and/or windows, it is applied in a door or window opening of a building and it consists essentially of at least one fixed rim (3) and at least one movable leaf (1) and at least one fixed leaf (4), wherein at least one movable leaf is glued to the glass (2) in all its perimeter.
Connective installation structure for modularized windows and doors
The present invention relates to a connective installation structure for modularized windows and doors, the connective installation structure successively arranging and connectively installing, in the horizontal direction, modularized sliding windows, doors, or door windows that form the window and doors of a building, with fixed windows arranged in the spaces between the windows and doors. The present invention provides the connective installation structure for modularized windows and doors so as to provide a simplified double frame support structure in which the connective structure lateral section view of the frame, formed by the elevation view of the elements that form the connective installation structure of windows and doors, comprises just (window glass or door panel)-window sash frame-window frame-(fixed window glass), the connective installation structure for windows and doors successively arranging and connectively installing, in the horizontal direction, the sliding-type windows, doors, or door widows, with fixed windows arranged in the spaces therebetween.
Universal window banding clip system
A system for improving the alignment of building product frame members. The system includes a first and second clip member each with an arcuate edge releasably positioned into a channel within the opposed frame members. A longitudinally extending banding strap looped through openings in both first and second clip member. The first end of the longitudinally extending banding strap is inserted into a banding strap tensioning apparatus and tension is applied to the first end as well as to a longitudinally disposed segment of the banding strap that is also inserted into the banding strap tensioning apparatus. Once the specified span is achieved, the overlapping first end and longitudinally disposed segment are bonded together using the banding member tensioning apparatus thereby preventing movement of the first and second frame members away from one another. Sealant is applied to the frame members and the banding strap clip members are removed.
Compound fenestration assembly mull joints and methods
Compound fenestration assembly mull joints, compound fenestration assemblies using those mull joints, and methods of making and using the same are described herein. The mull joints in compound fenestration assemblies as described herein use universal joining strips to form both sides of a mull joint, as well as other universal components such as, e.g., corner gussets, locator plates, end plugs, seal members, etc. that may be used as needed to form mull joints as required in a compound fenestration assembly.
SPLICING PIPE FOR INSTALLING DOOR OR WINDOW
A splicing pipe for installing a door or window includes a first frame profile, a second frame profile, a heat insulation strip and at least two fasteners. A first clamping groove is formed on each of two sides of the first frame profile, and a second clamping groove is formed on each of two sides of the second frame profile. The first clamping groove and the second clamping groove are both configured to be connected to the door or window having glass. At least one of the first frame profile and the second frame profile on the same side is provided with an installation groove, and the fastener is inserted into the installation groove. The splicing pipe provided has the advantages of simple splicing operation and easy implementation, which can not only improve the splicing speed, but also guarantee the performance of the doors or windows after being spliced.
WINDOW ATTACHMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A window attachment system for attaching a window to an opening in a building includes a male portion and a female portion. One of the male portion and the female portion is attached to one of the outer perimeter of the window frame or the inner perimeter of the opening in the building. The other of the male portion and the female portion is attached to the outer perimeter of the window frame or the inner perimeter of the opening in the building. The male portion is engaged with the female portion when the window is placed into the opening.
PRE-GLAZED WINDOW WALL SYSTEM
A window wall system includes a sill receptor secured to an upper surface of a first floor slab, the sill receptor providing a base and an upright member extending from the base, a head receptor secured to a bottom surface of a second floor slab vertically offset from the first floor slab, and a glazing unit providing a sill, a head, and one or more panels extending between the sill and the head. A first hook defined by the sill is engageable with the upright member. When the upright member is received by the hook, the glazing unit is pivotable about the upright member toward a vertical orientation. A second hook is defined by the sill and receivable within a groove defined in the sill receptor when the glazing unit reaches the vertical orientation.
Cladding system for glazed doors and windows
A low-profile cladding system that can be readily applied to doors, windows, fixed light openings, or curtain walls where thermal performance is important. The cladding system utilizes a cladding member in combination with an L-shaped bracket to attach and secure the cladding member to a frame or sash. The cladding member is held to the frame or sash by tension or pressure between opposite ends of the cladding member. This tension is created by the L-shaped bracket in combination with the cladding ends as the L-shaped bracket engages one cladding member end and is pivoted into an indentation, or recess, in the frame or sash. The other cladding member end engages a groove along the side of the frame or sash opposite to the indentation.
STRUCTURAL, GLASS-ALUMINUM FACADE COMPONENT
A façade component (1) comprises a glass window (2) and a secondary frame (3) connected to the glass window (2) by means of a plurality of connectors (4), wherein the glass window (2) comprises a multilayer panel (5), the secondary frame (3) comprises a plurality of secondary profiles (13) forming an engagement surface (15) facing the glass window (2), a first gasket seat (18) formed in the engagement surface (15) and accommodating a first gasket (19) interposed between the engagement surface (15) and the glass window (2), an engagement seat (20) forming a plurality of engagement holes (21), each receiving an engagement portion (22) of one of the connectors (4), wherein the connectors (4) comprise an expansion portion (24) anchored in an expansion hole (25) of the glass window (2), a pin (23) connected to the expansion portion (24) and forming the engagement portion (22), as well as a releasable tightening member (27) which engages the engagement portion (22) of the connector (4) and the engagement seat (20) of the secondary frame (3) and tightens the glass window (2) against the secondary frame (3), wherein the expansion hole (25) and the expansion portion (24) extend through the first glass sheet (7) bordering with the secondary frame (3), and into a second glass sheet (8) adjacent to the first glass sheet (7) on a side opposite to the secondary frame (3), and the expansion hole (25) and the expansion portion (24) have at least one local widening (26, 70) which creates an anti-removal shape coupling between the connector (4) and the glass window (2).
