PEDESTRIAN FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM
A pedestrian flow control system includes a first lateral boundary element and a second lateral boundary element, a passage for persons being formed between the lateral boundary elements; and a middle element arranged in the passage. The middle element is mounted at the bottom on a guide element oriented perpendicularly to the lateral boundary elements and can be moved along the guide element into at least a first position and a second position, is arranged between the lateral boundary elements and divides the passage into two aisles in the first position, openings the passage substantially over the whole width of the passage in the second position.
COMPOSITE AUTOMATIC GATE PADDLE
Embodiments of the present invention may encompass gateline paddles that include a paddle body having a composite material forming an outer surface of the paddle body. The composite material may have a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface that define an open interior therebetween. The composite material may include a fiber-reinforced resin. The paddle body may include a cellular reinforcement member disposed within the open interior. The paddle body may include a mounting region formed along a lateral edge of the paddle body. The paddle body may include a mounting block disposed within a portion of the open interior disposed within the mounting region.

CONTROL OF ACCESS SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to the operation of an access system in line with requirements. If a normal operating mode is sensed, the following is carried out: measuring preconfigurable sensor data in order to determine a requirement parameter set of the access system, at least one dynamized setpoint value for controlling the access system being calculated from the determined requirement parameter set, and controlling the pivot arm element by means of the dynamized setpoint value such that operation of the access system in line with requirements is continuously ensured. If a special operating mode is sensed, the following is carried out: reading in a special operation configuration parameter set and controlling the pivot arm element by means of the special operation configuration parameter set which has been read in.
GATE APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF GATE APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A gate apparatus includes a detection unit, an alert unit, and a gate control unit. The detection unit detects whether there is an object in a baggage placement area. The alert unit gives, if there is the object in the baggage placement area, an alert about left-behind baggage. The gate control unit controls, if there is the object in the baggage placement area, a gate such that an examination target user cannot pass through the gate.

PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
ARRANGEMENT FOR A PASSAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement for a passage system comprising at least one door post and a barrier device, said arrangement comprising at least one post and horizontal bars, wherein a plurality of transmitting and receiving units are provided on a first bar and wherein, furthermore, a plurality of reflector strips are located on an opposite second bar.
Passage barrier and method for producing a passage barrier
A passage barrier includes two guide elements that cooperate such that they define a gate region, through which a person passes from an entrance region into a passage region. At least one of the guide elements includes a vertically running profile, on which a locking apparatus is arranged. The locking apparatus has a torque transmission toothing, which engages into a complementary torque reception toothing of a hollow shaft of a drive. A circular stop disc is also provided and has a toothing engagement, which is engaged with the torque transmission toothing. The stop disc has a circumferential surface with a stop lug, which protrudes radially from the stop disc circumferential surface, and cooperates with a stop element arranged on the vertically running profile such that a rotation of the stop disc is delimited by the engagement of the stop lug against the stop element.
Passage gate for emergency opening and a checkout counter
A passage gate for allowing or preventing people to enter or to exit a passage area comprising a base portion (110) and a panel portion (120) is provided. The passage gate (100) is configured to be driven in a first operation mode and a second operation mode. When the passage gate (100) is driven in the first operation mode the panel portion (120) is slidable relative the base portion (110) between a first open position, allowing people to pass, and a closed position preventing people from passing through the passage gate (100). When the passage gate (100) is driven in the second operation mode the base portion (110) is rotatable between the closed position and a second open position for achieving a larger passage area.
