Pet door and detachable window systems
Implementations of detachable window systems may include: a main panel including one or more windows therein, the one or more windows in the main panel each having a window casing, a screen, and a window opening mechanism; an upper panel hingedly coupled to an upper side of the main panel; and a lower panel hingedly coupled to a lower side of the main panel opposing the upper side. The window opening mechanism on each of the one or more windows may be used to open the window to permit air to flow through the screen.
PACKAGE DELIVERY DOOR
A package delivery door assembly is configured for being installed in an opening in a garage door. The assembly includes a frame having an outer peripheral planar portion configured to directly contact an outer surface of the garage door when the assembly is installed, and an inwardly extending flange portion configured to extend into the opening in the garage door when the assembly is installed. The assembly further includes two (or more) inner brackets. Each inner bracket has an inner planar portion and a ledge perpendicular to the inner planar portion. The ledges of the at least two inner brackets are configured to be coupled to the inwardly extending flange portion of the frame when the door assembly is installed, thereby avoiding additional holes being cut into the garage door. The assembly further includes a package delivery door hingedly attached to the frame.
Earthquake Safety Protection Device
An article of manufacture for an earthquake safety protection device (ESPD) according to the present invention is disclosed. The ESPD consists of an earthquake support pole and mating support members to create survivable space around the support pole should a room be damaged in an earthquake. The ESPD may also comprise a reinforced frame within an interior door of a building. The reinforced frame resists damage from an earthquake that may prevent the interior door from opening. Opening or removal of the inner door protected by the reinforced frame creates a means of safely exiting a room in spite of damage to the interior door and its corresponding door frame. The ESPD may also include a mechanism to prevent a mobile hospital bed from moving about a room during an earthquake.
Securable Pet Door
The present disclosure provides for a securable pet door. The securable pet door may comprise at least one door, at least one knob, one or more windows, at least one frame, and/or at least one hinge. The knob may comprise a latch for secure closing. When the pet door comprises at least one hinge, the hinge(s) may be inserted into at least one hinge recess so that the door may be securely locked via at least one locking mechanism. The orientation of the one or more elements of the securable pet door may be predetermined, securable, or customizable. The door may open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to the frame. The frame may comprise at least one sensor. When the frame comprises at least one sensor, the sensor(s) may interface with at least one external device, such as a computing device, to actuate the at least one locking mechanism from a remote location.
System and method for converting an overhead door into a gate or serving window to facilitate entertainment and other purposes
A system is disclosed for converting an overhead door into a gate or serving window, the system having at least two rows of panels spanning the width of the door, one panel located above and adjacent to the other panel, a pair of rails opposite one another and adjacent to the panels, the panels traveling within the rails to move from a closed position to an open position, and at least one hinge connecting the lower row of panels to the upper row of panels, the hinge having an upper half attached to the upper row of panels and a lower half attached to the lower row of panels, the upper and lower halves of the hinge connected by a removable central pin, wherein the upper row of panels moves from the closed position to the open position when the central pin is removed from the hinge.
AUTOMATIC RELEASED FOLDABLE DOOR HAVING TWO-WAY DOOR STRUCTURE
Disclosed is an automatic released foldable door having a two-way door structure, which foldable door comprises a first closing door device (11) and a second closing door device (13), wherein a first door leaf (2) is connected to one side of the first closing door device (11), the second closing door device has one side connected to the first door leaf (2) and the other side thereof connected to a second door leaf (6), the second door leaf (6) is a door-in-door and a two-way door structure; and the foldable door further comprises a plurality of fixing devices (3, 31, 7) and at least one hinge (4). The foldable door has a relatively small turning radius and can be folded for receiving, and the door-in-door can be rotated in different directions.
QUICK RELEASE DOOR ROLLER ASSEMBLY
An improved vertical lift door roller assembly has a wheel pivotally mounted to a shaft. The shaft is placed within a spring loaded locking cylinder. The locking cylinder is movable between a first position where it restricts pivoting of the wheel and a second position where the wheel is able to pivot. When the door roller assembly is used on a vertical lift door, the wheel can be pivoted to decouple the roller from a vertical lift door J channel wheel track.
The door roller assembly is mountable to a support a vertical lift door, such as a bracket or a hinge. The roller wheel can be pivoted to decouple the roller from a vertical lift door wheel track and to reseat the wheel in the track.
Shipping system and control system for secure package delivery
A shipping system is configured to facilitate transfer of a package into and/or out of a room in a building. The shipping system is for controlling a shiftable panel of the building to selectively provide a path into and out of the room. The shipping system includes a control system. The control system broadly includes a vehicle sensor and a system processor. The system processor is configured to receive package identification data associated with the package, have the panel opened to allow room ingress and egress along the path based on the package identification data, move an autonomous vehicle to a location adjacent the panel to facilitate package transfer, based on vehicle location data, and have the panel closed to restrict room ingress and egress along the path in response to a determination that the package has been transferred into or out of the room via the path.
