Security door
A stile and rail ballistic security door containing bullet proof materials within a metal or synthetic material frame including a plurality of window panes and thermal break means to eliminate condensation problems therein. The door contains a multi-layer exterior core providing extra strength and rigidity.
Door panel
A door panel comprising a body having front and rear door skins delimiting an interior for sandwiching filling material, an interlock provided with the body and configured to lock the front and rear skins and thereby prevent displacement of the front and rear skins along at least two transverse directions, and a reinforcement member provided between the front and rear door skins and extending transversely to the interlock for providing reinforcement to the body.
Soundproof door for use in reduction of sound transmitted from one side of the door to the other side
A soundproof door assembly for use in reduction of sound transmitted from one side of the door to the other side, having an STC number at least STC 36 determined in accordance with ASTM E413-10 and E90-09, comprising a soundproof door having a thickness of 30-80 mm, which comprising two door skins, one formed as a front door skin and the other formed as a rear door skin for the soundproof door respectively; a quadrilateral frame, constituted by a top rail member, a bottom rail member, a left stile member and a right stile member to seal the perimeter of the door skins; and a multiple-layered core, to form a concrete inner portion of the door, which comprising three layers of a hard-soundproof material that blocks sound with high frequency over 500 Hz, wherein each of the door skins includes an aperture aligned and devoid of any soundproofing core thereby forms a window of the soundproof door for accommodation of a glass pane.

System for reducing warping in solid wood doors
The invention described relates to the manufacturing of solid wood doors and consists in the insertion of steel reinforcing bars in the frames of the door to increase its rigidity. By increasing the rigidity of the door, the effect of possible warping in the door is diminished. In addition to this, alloying the steel, which possesses an elasticity modulus that is around ten times superior to that of wood, we achieve significantly higher rigidity for the piece of solid wood and this, by adding very little steel. The arrangement and the geometry of the reinforcing bars permit the conservation of traditional manufacturing techniques.
Door with high energy efficiency
The invention relates to the manufacturing of solid wood doors and consists in increasing the insulating value of a door by inserting an insulating material between the internal and external panels and in the center of the structural parts of the door. In this way, a door with a minimum of non-insulated surfaces is achieved. By using this system, the insulating value of the assembled door is significantly increased and reach the requirements of high energy efficiency programs such as ENERGY STAR. In addition to this, the rigidity and the durability of the solid wood door are not significantly compromised. A door with a traditional style and high thermal resistance levels is achieved.
Door component and door with laminated strengthening bars
A door component, a door, and a method for manufacturing the same. The door may be an external domestic door. The door component includes a thermally insulating material sandwiched by a first layer and a second layer. The component has at least one strengthening bar sandwiched by the first and second layers. The first and second layers are cross-laminated plywood. The strengthening bar(s) are advantageously cross-laminated. Related doors and methods of manufacture are disclosed.
