Slatted Door with Increased Impact Resistance
A shutter roller door with a shutter roller drivable by a drive mechanism; a flexible door windable on the roller and movable between retracted and extended positions by the drive mechanism, the door having integrally formed interconnected slats, each having upper and lower edges, and arranged perpendicular to a direction of door travel; a guide rail assembly positioned at each side; and end members attachable to an end of a corresponding slat. Each slat has an upper hook portion and an upper curved channel, the upper hook portion configured to engage with a lower curved channel of the lower edge of an upper adjacent slat, and the lower edge having a lower hook portion and a lower curved channel configured to engage with the upper curved channel of the upper edge of a lower adjacent slat.
Curtain of a vertical sliding roll-up door, provided with a lateral air seal
A vertically sliding roll-up door has a portal structure including vertical uprights provided with guide rails for guiding the sliding of blocks fixed along the lateral edges of the curtain, to allow the curtain to move vertically with respect to the portal structure. The curtain includes air-sealing gaskets which extend substantially over the entire length of the longitudinal edges of the curtain at the blocks, in order to block the passage of air between the guide rails and the blocks.
Rolling door guide area heating method and system
A system for heating a door guide area includes: a first and second conduit for channeling a flow of heated air; a heater fluidly connected to the first conduit and configured to provide air to the first and second conduits; first and second openings providing fluid communication between the first and second conduits to allow the air to circulate through the first and second conduits; a heat transfer wall part of the second conduit, to transfer heat from the flow of heated air in the second direction to a space outside of the second conduit that is defined, in part, by the heat transfer wall; and two side supports connected to the heat transfer wall, the side supports located opposing each other and dimensioned and located along with the heat transfer wall to form three sides to encompass a portion of a roll-up door.
MAINTENANCE-FREE ROLLING DOOR VACUUM SLAT
A maintenance-free rolling door vacuum slat includes an elongate tubular member forming a cavity with a substantially uniform cross-sectional configuration along its length and forming first and second opposing ends conforming to the cross-sectional configuration. A first cap seals the first end. A second cap seals the second end, a vacuum being formed within the cavity. The first and second caps are joined to the elongate member to form a hermetic seals to render the slat airtight forming a permanent vacuum insulation barrier that requires no maintenance to restore the vacuum within the cavity.
BOX FOR A ROLLING DEVICE
Box for a rolling device, comprising a box-like body having an inner surface which defines a housing cavity for the rolling device, wherein the box-like body comprises a front opening and a rear opening and a front structural panel fixed to the box-like body for closing the front opening. It includes an insulation system which continuously covers the inner surface of the box-like body and an inner face of the front structural panel. At the front opening, a first tape-like element extends along a continuous closed path around said front opening and, at the rear opening, a second tape-like element which extends along a respective continuous closed path around the rear opening, where the first and the second tape-like element are impermeable to air.
Enclosure for refrigerating chambers
The invention relates to an enclosure for refrigerating chambers, suitable for closing an access (3) to a refrigerating chamber and comprising: —a sliding refrigerating door (1), and —a quick-opening door (2), both assembled on the same side of the chamber, comprising a frame with vertical posts (4), comprising: —on an outer face, at least one mouth (42) wherein a fan (6) is coupled which introduces air in the corresponding vertical post (4); —on the inside thereof, a deflector plate (61) which directs the air towards electrical resistors (7) for heating the air, situated underneath the deflector plate and, —on an inner face, an outlet (43) for supplying hot air on one of the surfaces, inner or outer, of the flexible sheet (21) exposed to the cold of the chamber and removing frost from said flexible sheet (21).
VERTICAL SLIDING WINDOW FOR A BUILDING
The invention is directed to a vertical sliding window as a closure for an opening in an exterior wall of a building, wherein for opening, at least one window pane of the sliding window may be lowered downwardly, in particular into a flat chamber within a box. The sliding window may be provided as a finished module, with the option of integrating insulation and/or designing the facade; it is also possible to integrate a roller shutter box, in particular also in heat-insulated form. The area of application for such a sliding window component ranges from single-family dwellings to high-rise buildings of any conceivable height.
The curtain includes air-sealing gaskets which extend substantially over the entire length of the longitudinal edges of the curtain at the blocks, in order to lock the passage of air between the guide rails and the blocks.
THERMAL BARRIER ROLLER DOOR ASSEMBLIES AND PARTS THEREOF
The construction of rapid opening thermally insulated roller doors is challenging in that there are both structural and operational challenges. The door blades need to have structural strength, and also need to have dimensional stability. Disclosed is a thermally insulated roller door blade in which at least the material forming the outer surface is able to resist the tensile loads during retraction, and the blade is provided with flexible spacer strips that help the primary insulating material of the door blade to maintain dimensional stability, primarily by helping to resist crushing. This allows softer materials to be used for thermal insulation than previously used, helping to reduce weight and to improve thermal efficiency, while at the same time allowing smooth and repeatable operation even when exposed to freezing temperatures for long periods.
Slat assembly for roller shutter, roller shutter, and methods of manufacture thereof
A slat assembly may include a slat having a first and second receiving portion. The first and second receiving portions being a pair of bent portions forming an acute angle. The slat assembly may further include an insulation layer lined on the slat. The slat assembly may further include a retaining mechanism disposed on the insulation layer to press a first portion of the insulation layer into the first receiving portion of the slat and to press a second portion of the insulation layer into the second receiving portion of the slat such that the retaining mechanism may cooperate with the first and second receiving portions to hold the insulation layer between the retaining mechanism and the slat without puncturing or penetrating the insulation layer with fasteners. A roller shutter including the slat assembly. A method of manufacturing a slat assembly and a method of manufacturing a roller shutter.
