PANEL UNIT WITH MULTIPLE INTEGRATED AND COMMONLY ADJUSTABLE BLIND ASSEMBLIES
A panel unit includes an interconnected first and second pair of juxtaposed panels, a spacer joining together opposing inner faces of the pairs of panels about a periphery of the interconnected pair to define common air space therebetween, first and second blind assemblies positioned in the air space between the first and second pair of panels respectively, a first drive shaft coupled to a first set of louvers of the first blind assembly and a second drive shaft coupled to a second set of louvers of the second blind assembly, an actuator connected to the first drive shaft, and an interface structure rotationally fixing together opposing ends the first and second drive shafts, wherein the first drive shaft is responsive to actuation of the actuator to axially rotate and thereby cause simultaneous rotation of the first and second sets of louvers between the open and closed positions thereof.
COVERING FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL OPENING HAVING NESTED ROLLERS
A covering for an architectural covering is provided. The covering may include a rotatable outer roller, a rotatable inner roller, a first shade secured to the outer roller, and a second shade secured to the inner roller. The outer roller may define an elongated slot extending along a length of the outer roller and opening to an interior of the outer roller. The inner roller may be received within the outer roller and may define a central longitudinal axis. The first shade may be retractable onto and extendable from the outer roller. The second shade may extend through the elongated slot and may be retractable onto and extendable from the inner roller. The elongated slot may be substantially horizontally aligned with the central longitudinal axis of the inner roller when the first shade is in a fully extended position.
Cordless retractable roller shade for window coverings
A cordless retractable shade including an operating system for the shade that varies a biasing force of a spring to counterbalance the shade. The bottom rail of a retractable shade can be raised or lowered, and due to the operating system remains in any selected position of the covering between fully extended and fully retracted, without the use of operating cords. The system includes a method of negating and reversing the spring bias effect at a strategic position whereby the flexible vanes of the shade can be adjusted between open and closed.
CONTROL OF COVERING MATERIAL AND MOTORIZED WINDOW TREATMENTS
A motorized window treatment may include a roller tube, a covering material that is attached to the roller tube, and a motor drive unit configured to be located within the roller tube. The motor drive unit may include a motor drive shaft defining a motor drive shaft rotational axis in a longitudinal direction. The motor drive shaft may be configured to rotate the roller tube to adjust the covering material between a raised position and a lowered position. The motorized window treatment may be configured to adjust a visible light transmittance of the covering material by rotating the roller tube, for example, when the covering material is in a fixed position between the raised position and the lowered position.
FOLDABLE SHEER SHADE
A foldable sheer shade includes a supporting seat, a controlling module, a shade, and a receiving device. The controlling module is disposed to the supporting seat and includes a coiling rod. The shade has an end connected to the coiling rod. The shade includes a plurality of hollow portions arranged in an axial direction. The receiving device includes a box and a limiting member coupled to the box. The limiting member extends through one of the plurality of hollow portions of the shade. A portion of the shade below the limiting member is coiled to be received in a receiving space of the box and is positioned by the limiting member.
ARCHITECTURAL-STRUCTURE COVERINGS, AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
An architectural-structure covering is disclosed. The architectural-structure covering may include a covering moveable between retracted and extended positions, and between closed and open configurations. The covering may include front and rear sheets and a plurality of vanes extending therebetween. In the deployed position, the covering may be configured so that the vanes are positioned substantially perpendicular to the incoming light. The architectural-structure covering may also include a rotatable member including a scoop configured to create a pocket to secure a bottom rail of a rear covering so that the bottom rail does not prematurely deploy. Moreover, the architectural-structure covering may also include an external booster movable between a first state of operation wherein the external booster stores potential energy and a second state of operation wherein the external booster releases the stored potential energy to rotate the rotatable member in a predetermined direction to effect additional rotation of a covering.
Operating system for a covering for an architectural opening
A covering for an architectural opening is provided. The covering may include a roller rotatable about a longitudinal axis, a shade associated with the roller, and an operating system operably associated with the roller. The operating system may include a base, a drive mechanism, a transmission, an actuator arm, and an engagement arm. The drive mechanism may be associated with the base to provide an input torque. The transmission may be associated with the drive mechanism to selectively transmit the input torque to the roller. The actuator arm may be associated with the base to indirectly set a rotation direction of the roller. The engagement arm may be associated with the base and engageable with the transmission.
Window Shade
A window shade includes a reel and a roller pivotally connected with a head frame at two spaced-apart positions, a clutch operatively connected with the roller and switchable between an engaged state preventing the roller from rotating in a first direction and a disengaged state for rotation of the roller in an opposite second direction, and a panel assembly including multiple transversal vanes respectively connected with a first and a second panel. The reel is rotatable to wind and unwind the panel assembly with the first panel remaining in contact with the roller. The panel assembly is switchable between an open state for light passage and a closed state blocking light passage by rotating the transversal vanes. The reel is rotatable in an unwinding direction while the roller is kept stationary by the clutch in the engaged state for switching the panel assembly from the closed to open state.
