Outer wall material and method for manufacturing same
An outer wall material includes a first transparent member integrally or separately including a transparent plate material and a prism portion; and a reflection member provided on a second side of the prism portion of the first transparent member. The prism portion causes the reflection member to collect light whose angle with respect to a normal line of the plate material is equal to or greater than a predetermined angle and to retro-reflect the collected light, and transmits light whose angle with respect to the normal line of the plate material is less than the predetermined angle.
Wheel carriage assembly with telescoping hembar
Wheel carriage assemblies and related fabric deployment systems and methods are disclosed. A wheel carriage assembly comprising at least one wheel with ball bearings on the interior of each wheel, and a pivot point that allows for position independence, is configured with a hembar coupled to a piece of fabric to allow a surface of varying shape to be covered. The system provides the ability to cover both traditional window shapes as well as surfaces of irregular shape or inclined orientation, and reduces and evens the amount of wear on certain components to extend system life.
WHEEL CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY WITH TELESCOPING HEMBAR

A wheel carriage assembly comprising at least one wheel with ball bearings on the interior of each wheel, and a pivot point that allows for position independence, is configured with a hembar coupled to a piece of fabric to allow a surface of varying shape to be covered. The system provides the ability to cover both traditional window shapes as well as surfaces of irregular shape or inclined orientation, and reduces and evens the amount of wear on certain components to extend system life.
SUN-FACING LIGHT REDIRECTING FILMS WITH REDUCED GLARE
The present disclosure relates generally to light management constructions comprising microstructured prismatic elements useful in the preparation of sun-facing light redirecting films having reduced glare.
ROOM-FACING LIGHT REDIRECTING FILMS WITH REDUCED GLARE
The present disclosure relates generally to light management constructions comprising microstructured prismatic elements useful in the preparation of room-facing light redirecting films having reduced glare.
Wheel carriage assembly for guided asymmetric fabric deployment
Wheel carriage assemblies and related fabric deployment systems and methods are disclosed. A wheel carriage assembly comprising at least one wheel with ball bearings on the interior of each wheel, and a pivot point that allows for position independence, is configured with a hembar coupled to a piece of fabric to allow a surface of varying shape to be covered. The system provides the ability to cover both traditional window shapes as well as surfaces of irregular shape or inclined orientation, and reduces and evens the amount of wear on certain components to extend system life.
Optical article for directing and distributing light
An optical article for directing and distributing light including an optically transmissive layer having one or more arrays of TIR channels and a light diffusing element disposed in optical communication with the optically transmissive layer. The TIR channels define reflective surfaces extending perpendicular or near-perpendicular to a prevailing plane of the optically transmissive layer. The TIR channels and the light diffusing element operate concurrently to redirect and redistribute a beam of light received from a light source such as daylight or an LED over a broad angular range.
BLADES OF FIXED SUNSHADE DEVICES, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The invention relates to a blade of a brise-soleil device, said blade being noteworthy in that it is produced in one piece comprising: substantially planar elongate, separate and parallel solid lamellae, discontinuous cutouts separating the solid lamellae, connecting spacers providing connection and spacing between solid lamellae, said cutouts being enclosed by the edges of the lamellae and the edges of the connecting spacers. The invention also relates to a method and a device for manufacturing such a blade.
Optical article for illuminating building interiors employing reflective grid panel
An optical article for illuminating building interiors including a reflective grid panel, an LED light source positioned above the reflective grid panel and configured to illuminate the reflective grid panel at incidence angles ranging from a minimum angle of 0° to a maximum angle of at least 45°, a light diffusing sheet of an optically transmissive dielectric material approximately coextensive with and oriented generally parallel to the reflective grid panel, and a pair of reflective side walls flanking a space between the reflective grid panel and the light diffusing sheet. The reflective grid panel incorporates a plurality of parallel longitudinal walls and a plurality of parallel transverse walls joining the walls and defining a plurality of rectangular openings configured to transmit light. Each of the parallel transverse walls extends transversely with respect to a plane of the reflective panel and is configured to diffusely reflect a portion of the light being transmitted through the plurality of rectangular openings.
BATTENED ROLLER COVERING
A covering for an architectural-structure covering is disclosed. The covering is formed from a plurality of assembled strips of fabric material joined together. Each assembled strip of fabric material may include a fabric material including inner and outer surfaces, and top and bottom ends. A first slat may be coupled to the inner surface of the fabric material adjacent the top end thereof, the first slat having a first contact surface. A second slat may be coupled to the outer surface of the fabric material adjacent the bottom end thereof, the second slat having a second contact surface. The first contact surface of the first slat of a first assembled strip is preferably nested with the second contact surface of the second slat of an adjoining second assembled strip. The second contact surface of the second slat may be partially covered by the piece of fabric material.
