An architectural covering and a method of manufacturing the covering is provided. The panel may include multiple strips of material extending lengthwise across a width dimension of the panel. The strips of material may be overlapped and coupled to one another to define cells between adjacent strips of material. The panel may be retracted and extended across an architectural opening, and the strips of material may include a resilient support member to expand the cells as the panel is extended across the architectural opening. The panel may be manufactured by helically winding a continuous, elongate strip of material about a drum in an overlapped manner.

A window shade includes a reel and an aperture control module respectively assembled with a head frame, and a panel assembly including transversal vanes respectively connected with two panels. The reel is rotatable to wind and unwind the panel assembly. The aperture control module includes a positioning arm connected with a rubbing roller, and is operable to rotate the rubbing roller relative to the positioning arm and to displace the positioning arm and the rubbing roller between two positions, the rubbing roller being displaced away from a sidewall of the head frame in a first position and pressing the panel assembly against the sidewall in a second position, the rubbing roller being further rotatable relative to the positioning arm in the second position to cause relative sliding between the two panels for switching the panel assembly from a closed state blocking light passage to an open state allowing light passage.

A modular shade includes at least one module that consists of a head rail unit, a foot rail unit, at least one intermediate rail unit, and a plurality of slat components. A top slat may be coupled to the head rail unit and the intermediate rail unit, and a bottom slat component may be coupled to the intermediate rail unit and the foot rail unit. Further, additional intermediate rail units and intermediate slat components may be added to the module to alter the shape and size of the module, and the module may be coupled to one or more additional modules to change the overall shape and size of the modular shade.

COVERING FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL OPENING HAVING NESTED ROLLERS

A covering for an architectural covering is provided. The covering may include a rotatable outer roller, a rotatable inner roller, a first shade secured to the outer roller, and a second shade secured to the inner roller. The outer roller may define an elongated slot extending along a length of the outer roller and opening to an interior of the outer roller. The inner roller may be received within the outer roller and may define a central longitudinal axis. The first shade may be retractable onto and extendable from the outer roller. The second shade may extend through the elongated slot and may be retractable onto and extendable from the inner roller. The elongated slot may be substantially horizontally aligned with the central longitudinal axis of the inner roller when the first shade is in a fully extended position.

Cordless retractable roller shade for window coverings

A cordless retractable shade including an operating system for the shade that varies a biasing force of a spring to counterbalance the shade. The bottom rail of a retractable shade can be raised or lowered, and due to the operating system remains in any selected position of the covering between fully extended and fully retracted, without the use of operating cords. The system includes a method of negating and reversing the spring bias effect at a strategic position whereby the flexible vanes of the shade can be adjusted between open and closed.

A window shade includes a first base, a second base, honeycomb fabric clamped between the first and second bases, a motor provided on the second base, a winder connected to an output end of the motor, a cord, a battery holder, and a power supply battery and electrically connected to the motor, where the cord has one end connected to an output end of the winder and the other end connected to the first base; the second base is provided with a mounting chamber and a charging connector; the mounting chamber has a first sidewall provided with a first clamping strip and a second clamping strip and a second sidewall provided with a third clamping strip and a fourth clamping strip; and the battery holder has one side clamped between the first and second clamping strips and the other side clamped between the third and fourth clamping strips.

Cord winding assembly with fine adjustment and correction and window blind using same

A window blind includes a headrail, two lift cords, a blind body, a bottom rail, and two cord winding assemblies that are respectively installed on two opposite sides of the long axis of the bottom rail. The other ends of the lift cords are respectively tied to respective adjustment columns of the cord winding assemblies. When the window blind is folded or stretched, unfortunately, when the winding stroke is inconsistent, the blind body is not folded uniformly or skewed, and the adjustment column of the cord winding assembly on one side can be finely adjusted, so that one of the lift cords is gradually wound and covered on the adjustment column, and indirectly drives the bottom rail and the blind body to gradually adjust to substantially parallel to the bottom of the headrail, thereby effectively achieving the effect of fine-tuning and correcting the blind body.

An actuating system for a window shade includes a rotary axle, a cord winding assembly and a limiting mechanism. The cord winding assembly is coupled to the rotary axle and is connected with a plurality of suspension cords, the rotary axle being rotatable to cause the cord winding assembly to wind and unwind the suspension cords for displacing a movable rail of a window shade. The limiting mechanism includes a latch coupled to one of the suspension cords, the latch being movable between a locking state for preventing rotation of the rotary axle and an unlocking state for rotation of the rotary axle, the limiting mechanism being configured so that tensioning and loosening of the one of the suspension cords causes the latch to switch between the locking state and the unlocking state.
