COMPOSITE DOOR AND/OR WINDOW FRAMES
The present invention consists of a composite frames for the manufacture of doors and/or windows, which is applied in a door and/or window opening of a building and consists of at least one fixed rim (1), at least one fixed and/or movable leaf (2), and elements such as skirting boards consisting of two profiles joined together: a metal profile (5a), preferably of aluminum, covered with a second wood profile (5b), wherein these two profiles are joined by means of a glue, preferably made of polyurethane.
DOOR STILE WITH COMPOSITE EDGE BANDING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a door stile includes bonding a composite edge band to a first side of a core and profiling the composite edge band. The edge band includes a hollow that is defined through the composite edge band to flex when compressed into the first side of the core. Profiling the composite edge band includes removing portions of the composite edge band that define the hollows.
Window glazing system
A window glazing system includes an elongate elastomeric element having a right triangular cross section defining two leg surfaces and a hypotenuse surface with chamfers on the legs at the hypotenuse. A window pane is placed in a window frame and the interior frame and the window pane are appropriately coated with construction adhesive. The legs of the elongate element are forced into the intersection of the pane and the interior frame to spread and to be retained by the adhesive. The adhesive is then additionally forced into the chamfers and the entire assembly cleaned with solvent.

VERSATILE HYBRID FENESTRATION SYSTEM
Fenestration assemblies and methods for making fenestration assemblies are discussed herein. In one aspect the fenestration assembly can include a base frame assembly, a support frame assembly, a clipping assembly and a window pane. The base frame assembly is connected to a plurality of other base frame assembly members which can form a frame. The base frame assembly members each have a clipping assembly which attaches a piece of exterior cladding to the base frame assembly. The cladding member and the clipping member also assist in securing the window pane. In some examples the exterior cladding protects the base frame assembly. Many different styles of exterior cladding can be fitted to the clipping assembly
