The light modulation controller includes a light prescription module configured to provide a specified light prescription for the building interior. A lighting difference module is configured to determine a prescription difference between the specified light prescription and ambient light. A dynamic light module of the light modulation controller operates the at least one light modulation element according to the prescription difference. The ventilation modulation controller is in communication with at least one operator configured to open and close the panel. A ventilation prescription module provides a specified ventilation prescription for the building interior, and a dynamic ventilation module implements panel closing and opening according to the specified ventilation prescription.
HINGED DOOR FOR SPACE UTILIZATION
The present disclosure relates to a hinged door for utilizing space. The hinged door includes a hinge installed at one side of an opening of a structure; a door of which one end is connected to the hinge to open and close the opening in a hinged manner, and configured to be divided into a plurality of unit panels, each unit panel connected slidably to an adjacent unit panel in an opening/closing direction to stretch/retract in the opening/closing direction; and a connection link of which a first hinge axis of one end is connected to the structure and of which a second hinge axis of the other end is connected to the unit panel of a distal end, of the plurality of unit panels, so that a length of the door is stretched/retracted in the process of hinge opening/closing the door, thereby providing a hinged door for utilizing space.
Fenestration assembly and building service control with the same
A fenestration system includes one or more of a light modulation controller or ventilation modulation controller. The light modulation controller is in communication with at least one light modulation element of a fenestration assembly having a frame and a panel.
Coplanar bi-fold and sliding door
A fenestration unit such as a door operable in a sliding mode and a bi-fold folding mode. Examples include a frame, a first panel, a second panel, and one or more fold hinges releasably pivotally connecting a second side portion of the first panel to a first side portion of the second panel and defining a folding axis. In the sliding mode (1) the fold hinges are configured to disconnect the first and second panels, (2) the first panel is in a closed position with respect to the frame, and (3) the second panel is configured to slide along a path generally parallel to the first panel between a closed position and a sliding open position. In the folding mode (1) the fold hinges are configured to pivotally connect the second side portion of the first panel and the first side portion of the second panel, and (2) the first panel and second panel fold with respect to one another about the folding axis with the first panel pivoting with respect to the frame and the second panel sliding and pivoting with respect to the frame as the first and second panels move between the closed positions and folding open positions.
Space-saving movable door/window system capable of being fully opened
A space-saving lengthwise and widthwise movable panel system capable of being fully opened belongs to the field of smart building technology and includes a lengthwise panel moving compartment, a panel storage space and a panel control module. The movable panel system can be used as a door and/or window system. All of the panels of the system can be entirely stored in the panel storage space and when storing all of the panels entirely in the panel storage space, the panel system is fully open to allow full lengthwise access to a space. The panel storage space may be located in a wall or outside the room to hide the stacked panels. By controlling the operation of the moving system, the panels are effectively connected to one another in an aligned manner and can move automatically, so the space-saving movable panel system is convenient to use, and space-saving.
Combination forced entry resistant sash lock and tilt latch, also functioning as a window opening control device
A window fastener includes a forced-entry-resistant sash lock and tilt latch assembly. The sash lock is actuated to engage a keeper to lock the closed sash window. The tilt latch assembly permits sliding of the unlocked window, and prevents tilting until the tilt latch assembly is actuated by the interconnected sash lock. The sash lock and tilt latch assembly cooperate with a stop member secured to a master window frame, to limit opening of the window to a position between the closed position and a full open position, through contact of the latch assembly with a portion of the stop member. The sash lock is configured to actuate the latch assembly into a cocked position, permitting window movement beyond the limited position, and selective contact between the latch assembly and stop member that triggers latch assembly repositioning, causing automatic locking of the sash window when moved into the closed position.
Revolving door
