Vision light system for barrier systems
Door systems having a vision light system that provides resistance to and protection from the elements, such as but not limited to physical impacts (e.g., penetration from projectiles), protection from fire, protection from fluid penetration, or the like. The vision light systems may be customizable in order to provide different protection rating levels depending on the requirements of the structures in which vision light systems will be used. The vision light systems allow for the use of vision lights that extends past the envelope of the door. The vision light systems may utilize one or more interchangeable and/or adjustable components, such as one or more reinforcement members, one or more restraining members, one or more trim members, or the like may be utilized to secure different vision lights within the vision light system in order to provide the desired level of protection.
ADJUSTABLE FLUSH THRESHOLD FOR SLIDING DOORS AND WINDOWS
A sliding door or window system includes a track. The track includes an outer housing; an inner housing within the outer housing; a guide body provided with the inner housing and configured to guide a sliding movement of a door or a window; and at least one adjustable body that is provided on the outer housing, at least partially within the inner housing, and fixed with respect to the inner housing in a vertical direction, the at least one adjustable body configured to change a height of the inner housing with respect to the outer housing by rotating, such as to change a height of the guide body.
Modular paneled partition wall
A modular paneled partition includes a first pane panel defining a first panel bottom edge, a first panel upper edge, and a first panel thickness; a second pane panel defining a second panel bottom edge, a second panel upper edge, and a second panel thickness; a wall bottom edge structure including a fixed profile and a movable profile supporting the first and second pane panels and engaged with the fixed profile along an adjustment direction, and means for adjusting position of the movable profile, the movable profile defining a first and a second outer longitudinal sides, and a third side between the first and second outer longitudinal sides. The movable profile has a first bottom channel accommodating the first panel bottom edge, and a second bottom channel accommodating the second panel bottom edge.
Security insulated glass unit
An insulated glass unit having: an outer lite, an inner lite, and a shock absorbing spacer bar disposed between perimeter portions of the inner and outer lite, forming a cavity, the spacer bar having: an inner housing with a plurality of desiccant ports disposed between an internal desiccant chamber and the cavity; a desiccant encased within the desiccant chamber; a flexible outer housing in which the inner housing is nested; and a perimeter guard disposed on the outer surface of the spacer bar, said perimeter guard being configured to attach the spacer bar to each lite. The spacer bar is configured to be highly crush resistant, thus preventing the either lite from being dislodged during a forced entry attempt. The desiccant ports expose the desiccant to the cavity for humidity maintenance within said cavity. An additional lite and spacer bar may be implemented to form a three lite IGU.
Window device with a cement board as a frame material
A window device with a cementitious board as a frame material the device being a single or double window apparatus with an exterior configured with a cementitious board or structure and configured with such frames that are easily formed and readily adaptable to substantially any size or shape opening. The cementitious board window allows for a low maintenance, paintable or pre-painted panels that are moisture and rot resistant, are not susceptible to pest, and provide a surface which is durable over time, is non-combustible, and has materials with little environmental impact. The device is used with new or replacement windows for a commercial or residential structure.
Cold-formed glass article and assembly process thereof
Embodiments of an article comprising a cold-formed glass substrate in a curved shape, a plurality of separate mechanical retainers, and a frame are disclosed. The cold-formed glass substrate has a first major surface, and a second major surface opposing the first major surface. In one more embodiments, the plurality of separate mechanical retainers are attached to the second major surface of the cold-formed glass substrate. The mechanical retainers may be attached to the frame to define a position for each of the plurality of mechanical retainers, such that the mechanical retainers define the curved shape. Embodiments of processes to form such articles are also provided. Such processes can include attaching a plurality of separate mechanical retainers to a flexible glass substrate such that the glass substrate maintains its flexibility, and attaching the mechanical retainers to a frame, such that the mechanical retainers attached to the frame define a cold-formed curved shape for the flexible glass substrate.
FASTENING SYSTEMS FOR ATTACHING FABRIC TO A ROOF DECK
Fastener systems for roofing systems are disclosed for fastening a fabric, mesh, or base sheet to a roof deck prior to application of a liquid applied roof coating. The fastening assemblies may be attached to an uncleaned or unprimed roof deck and a fabric is laid atop the fasteners. The fasteners secure the fabric using mechanical binding or chemical bonding without penetrating or dimpling the fabric.
Doors comprising glazed unit, and method of making the same
A door include a first skin, a second skin, and a glazing unit. The first skin includes a first skin body portion, and a first flange portion extending inward from the first skin body portion. The first skin body portion has a first tip. A second skin includes a second skin body portion, and a second flange portion extending inward from the second skin body portion. The second skin body portion has a second tip. A glazing unit has an edge disposed adjacent to and between the first tip and the second tip. The first flange portion and the second flange portion provide an interlocking structure.
A PANEL FRAME AND A METHOD FOR PROVIDING A PANEL
A panel frame (10) is provided, comprising a first profile (100) having a first structure (102) to support a first side (52) of an associated panel (50), and a second structure (104) to support an edge (56) of the same panel (50), and a second profile (200) being configured to connect to the first profile (100) and comprising a first structure (202) to support a second side (54) of the panel (50). The first profile (100) comprises at least one magnetic portion (120), such that a magnetic member (300) can be attached to the magnetic portion (120) in order to temporary clamp the panel (50) between the magnetic member (300) and the first structure (102) of the first profile (100).
