Vision light system for barrier systems
Door systems having a vision light system that provides resistance to and protection from the elements, such as but not limited to physical impacts (e.g., penetration from projectiles), protection from fire, protection from fluid penetration, or the like. The vision light systems may be customizable in order to provide different protection rating levels depending on the requirements of the structures in which vision light systems will be used. The vision light systems allow for the use of vision lights that extends past the envelope of the door. The vision light systems may utilize one or more interchangeable and/or adjustable components, such as one or more reinforcement members, one or more restraining members, one or more trim members, or the like may be utilized to secure different vision lights within the vision light system in order to provide the desired level of protection.
Security insulated glass unit
An insulated glass unit having: an outer lite, an inner lite, and a shock absorbing spacer bar disposed between perimeter portions of the inner and outer lite, forming a cavity, the spacer bar having: an inner housing with a plurality of desiccant ports disposed between an internal desiccant chamber and the cavity; a desiccant encased within the desiccant chamber; a flexible outer housing in which the inner housing is nested; and a perimeter guard disposed on the outer surface of the spacer bar, said perimeter guard being configured to attach the spacer bar to each lite. The spacer bar is configured to be highly crush resistant, thus preventing the either lite from being dislodged during a forced entry attempt. The desiccant ports expose the desiccant to the cavity for humidity maintenance within said cavity. An additional lite and spacer bar may be implemented to form a three lite IGU.
Metallic fenestration systems with improved thermal performance and methods of manufacturing same
Thermally broken fenestration systems are provided that improve performance characteristics or combinations thereof, including strength and thermal conductivity. Embodiments disclosed include one or more fenestration frame assemblies, each having an interior frame member and an exterior frame member. The interior frame members and exterior frame members are coupled together via a plurality of bridges distributed along the length of the respective fenestration frame assembly. The bridges provide structural rigidity, while providing a plurality of air gaps between interior frame member and the exterior frame member to provide a thermal break.
RETROFIT ADAPTOR FOR GLAZING STRUCTURES AND METHOD THEREFOR
A retrofit adaptor is provided for retrofitting a glazing structure comprising an inner frame body and an outer frame body with windowpanes therebetween forming a glazed window. The retrofit adaptor comprises outer and inner connecting elements and a thermal break interposed therebetween and connected thereto. The outer connecting element for being connected to the outer frame body and defines an outer clearance hole therethrough. The inner connecting element for being connected to the inner frame body. The thermal break defines a cavity for receiving insulation therein. A mechanical fastener is insertable through the outer clearance hole of the outer connecting element when unconnected to the outer frame body and through the inner connecting element when mounted to the inner frame body, via the cavity, for being fastened to the inner frame body. The outer frame body is connectable to the outer connecting element for closing the outer clearance hole. The cavity is filled with the insulation thereby plugging the outer clearance hole.
USER CONTROL OF SMART HOME SYSTEM
Described herein are systems, methods, devices, and other techniques for implementing smart windows, smart home systems that include smart windows, and user devices and applications for control thereof. A smart window, or photovoltaic window, may include a photovoltaic configured to generate electrical power from incident light onto the photovoltaic window, store the electrical power, and send the electrical power to an electronics package or various electrical loads including a wireless communication system, sensors, or window functions. The photovoltaic window may communicate with various smart home system devices such as hub devices and user devices, which may include the reception of control data at the photovoltaic window and the transmission of sensor data captured by the window sensors.

Composite fenestration assembly
A composite fenestration assembly having one or more sub-assemblies including at least one glazing border constructed of a first material and a rigid overlay constructed of a second material to cover and protect an exposed surface of the glazing border while maintaining narrow sight lines and providing an architecturally pleasing exterior appearance.
PROJECTING, COMPRESSION SEAL, WINDOW DESIGNS
A window system includes a frame that includes a head, a sill, and opposing left and right vertical jambs, the left and right vertical jambs extending contiguously between the head and the sill, a fixed lite assembly fixed to the frame, a vent pivotably mounted to the frame and vertically offset from the fixed lite assembly, and a meeting rail interposing the fixed lite assembly and the vent.

ANTI-SEISMIC ASSEMBLY AND MODULAR BUILDING
An aseismic assembly and a modular building are provided in the present disclosure. The aseismic assembly is provided between a main frame and a displaceable frame spaced apart from the main frame. The aseismic assembly includes a fixed member and a movable member. The fixed member is disposed on a lower surface of the top portion of the main frame. The movable member is used to interconnect the fixed member and the displaceable frame, wherein the bottom portion of the movable member is inserted into the top portion of a post of the displaceable frame. The movable member is movable relative to the displaceable frame along a height direction of the main frame. The top portion of the movable member is connected to the fixed member. The movable member is movable relative to the fixed member along a horizontal direction.
